Had a coolant leak at the thermostat housing on my 2012 Ram 1500 Hemi. I think the seal on the thermostat was compressed. I bought a Gates thermostat on Amazon but it had zero markings on it and was likely a fake. I stuck with the old thermostat and used this gasket.The gasket arrived with a cut in it starting at the larger inner hole (!), though it didn't extend completely to the outside edge, with about 5mm to spare. I used some silicone RTV to seal it, in case it leaked. It hasn't.Problem solved and no more coolant leaks
