I needed a 1" wrench to pull the blade off my lawnmower. I recently ordered a set that goes to 7/8" and needed one more size up.I like that the open end of the wrench is sharp edged with parallel inside jaws shape. There is no evidence of rounding or hand grinding that would make a wrench a knuckle buster. I like the ratchet function of the box end.The fit of the open end captured my 1" nut snuggly. My digital caliper measures exactly 1".I normally torque the blade nut on my mower very tight with a wrench, and the spinning blade always tightens it more in use. The ratchet end of the wrench turned the nut off with no indication of weakness or failure. After sharpening, I was able to replace and tighten the nut, torqued down hard as usual, using the ratchet end. I put a heavy hand on the wrench and it worked just fine.I am glad to add this wrench to my tool box. I recommend to DIYers professionals needing a tool they can trust.

Wrench wrenches, it tightens and takes things off. The wild card with larger wrenches is when you send it with some torque. I'll be interested to see how well it holds up

A ratcheting wrench is extremely useful in places where a socket wrench does not fit. I am using this to assemble Harbor Freights utility trailer, and the time and frustration it saves is well worth the expense. The wrench is the same thickness as a Crescent one of the same size. The ratchet mechanism seems to be robust.

Note that there are several variations in this listing on the sizes. I’m reviewing the 15/16 size wrench. This is a good value for a very high quality, sturdy, long length 15/16 size wrench with dual ends. One end is a standard open end hex crescent shape and the other end is a closed ring style ratcheting wrench. The brand and size are clearly printed on the wrench and are easy to read and see the size. It’s very sturdy and is made from chrome vanadium steel that is heat treated chrome plated with a nickel plated finish that is rated to be resistant to rust. One thing my husband noted is that the open crescent end was slim to fit in tighter areas. But he noted that the ratcheting end was thicker (but still overall fairly slim) and it might not fit into some tighter areas and spaces. The ratchet end is a 72 tooth style with a small arc 12 point style with 5 degree swing movement for rotation so it is helpful in small spaces overall.Note that no instructions or papers come with it. You may want to refer to, print or save the listing details and pictures for further reference. While it does come nicely safety sealed in plastic, note that no storage bag or case comes with it.

This Meccion 10mm Metric Open End Ratcheting Wrench 10mm Metric Open End Ratcheting Wrench will be very useful. I do a lot of work on my scooter, car, etc,. and I aways seem to need a 10mm wrench. Combining both an open end wrench with a ratcheting wrench is what makes this really worthwhile - You use the open end part to initially loosen a tight bolt, and then use the 12 point ratchet (with just a 5 degree ratch swing) for when you have limited wrench "swing room" in a confined space to work the bolt out (or in).For the nice quality (it should last for decades) the of this single wrench, the price is reasonable.

I ordered this wrench specifically because, despite having three sets of sockets and open-ended wrenches, I did not have a single wrench in the 20mm size, which I needed to remove a return hose fitting from my power steering's gear box. The wrench worked perfectly for my application, and now I have another tool for my collection! The wrench appears to be well made and is true to spec. I am very happy with it.

When the wrench arrived, I was a bit surprised by the size as it’s a lot smaller than I expected.Made with 50BV30 steel for better wear resistance & a grey nickel plating for added abrasion and rust resistance.72 tooth design allows for a small 5° movement which makes it easier to work with in tight spaces.Overall, a good wrench to have in your toolbox. At the time of this review, the wrench was priced at $12.99.

Works great for brake caliper bolts on Hondas. The 14mm size is perfect for quickly loosening and tightening the brake caliper bolts. I would usually use a combination wrench to brake the bolt free, and then switch to a powered ratchet. This ratcheting wrench simplifies the process down to one tool only. Great to have in the toolbox for such a common maintenance task.

Ratchets are great, but they only work if you have room for the socket and handle. This works anywhere you can get a close ended wrench in. No selector switch, just flip it over. The ratcheting portion appears to be a toothed brass ring. Tolerances are fairly tight. Grips as expected. Ratcheting mechanism feels tight, with clicks at about every 5.29 degrees of rotation.Claims to be chrome vanadium so no concerns about corrosion.Other than the ratchet, it's a standard looking double ended wrench.I wish it were a little longer, but it's not unusually short for a 10mm wrench.

Buy these as a set and they’re a good value. If you’re getting them one at a time, the price per unit is a bit high. This isn’t a high end tool, but it seems okay. I ordered only the 13 mm size to replace a broken GearWrench brand tool. It does indeed have 72 teeth as advertised, and it’s strong enough to not break the first time I used it to crack loose some rear caliper bolts, so we’re off to a good start. Where it falls down is on clearance around the ratcheting head - it’s a bit chunky compared to my name brand tools. For some jobs, it just won’t fit where a slimmer wrench will. The other big thing to consider here is warranty. You might pay twice as much or more for a reputable brand name set that’ll have the backing of a lifetime over the counter exchange warranty, whereas this tool should likely be considered disposable if it breaks in a year or two.

I lose these all the time and you can never have too many. This one feels very well built and I love the ratcheting function. I only got one to see what the quality is like but I will now likely to buy the set.

Have you ever ordered a wrench specifically for one job? Well I just did - this one. I have a 14mm bolt on the back side of my front brake caliper that has very little clearance to get a wrench on, and I can't wrestle myself around to see it, so I have to do it all by touch. Okay, so I've managed in the past - but not without some colorful language. The great thing about wrenches like this is that after you've managed to put it on the bolt head once, you can just leave it there and ratchet away on it. A standard socket wrench won't fit inside the space around this bolt, thanks for asking. But this does, and it works great. I especially like the very short throw between ratchet stops, because I don't have a lot of room to swing the wrench either. The chrome vanadium coating is nice and uniform. The sizes are perfectly-on and fit the bolt head like a glove. The mechanism felt nice and tight and solid during use. I'm a happy camper. Recommended.
