i got the 280 mm (11") plane. it is one fine plane. it tunes right up, easy to adjust. i have been cutting mahagony, and it holds it edge well. it is easily manuvered. i do not use it with a pulling motion...i push it, as a western-style plane, and it does the job just fine. i'll get another one.
