I was excited to give this product a try and they worked very well in all respects - these solar powered units are quite bright and noticeable to say the least as they flash in various sequential patterns, very visible in the dark.But there are many uses besides that these light would be useful for, here is a brief checklist of their functions.Solar-only powered no replaceable batteriesOne-button control for On/Off mode selection (lights) and "vibration-sensing" mode (20 sec duration)This is well explained in the instruction sheet.The set of 2 light comes with accessories to mount them, 3 options: adhesive, zip ties, screwsNote: If you plan on mounting these lights on a street legal vehicle better check your States law concerning additional lights on the exterior of the vehicleAlso Note: If one of units seems to be non-functional there is 1) too much ambient light 2) check the state of the vibration mode or 3) it may really be defective!Have fun with your new toys!
