It is very difficult to reach the 'on' switch and there is no way to change the light bulb. Once it's done, it's a throw away and buy a new lantern.

I have two lanterns hanging in my front yard and the light comes on as the evening gets darker! The light is soft but bright enough to illuminate the walkway! Without the light glowing, the lanterns are beautiful enough just hanging from the trees! They need sunshine to charge the batteries so make sure they are in full sun! You will love these lanterns, but do bring them in when it rains!!

I'd give them a 5 star if you could replace the bulbs because I really like the design but it says the lightbulb replacement is unavailable. I really dislike products you just have to throw away when they stop working. Give me a replacement bulb and it gets a 5 star!
