It's a pretty standard rechargable lantern. It's not too large or heavy. I haven't tested the water resistance claim. It can hang on stuff and stand up, but I most likely that it has a magnet. This makes it extra useful for emergencies or working on the car at night in addition to camping. The amount of light it puts out is enough for my needs. When I need something brighter, I go for the more expensive lights. For the price, this is good though.

I must admit, I should have paid closer attention to the item description. This lantern is tiny, not even as tall as a bottle of water even when attached to the stand. However, I absolutely love it because it works extremely well and it's tiny size makes it very portable and convenient to carry in emergency and casual situations. I can easily put it in my purse or backpack and barely take up even a tenth of the space. The magnetic base is strong and makes it easy to attach to the metal frame of vehicles. It has a nice loop that can be hooked onto things and it has the stand that allows it sit on surfaces. The light is nice and bright and has 5 settings. Medium white, High white, low white, red steady, red strobe. It's an awesome little light and I am very happy with it but I do think the list price of $39.99 is too high for a light this small.

I didn't pay attention to the small size of this lantern. I like the brand name so I was excited to use one of their products. This little lantern could be used as a night light. It doesn't emit a lot of light even on high mode. There are different modes including a red light mode. There is a magnet on the bottom to attach to something metal. It charges with usb which is surprising because solar is the manufactures main production. I think it is most useful off grid camping or hiking when a small light would work, but then a flash light would work too. It does work as described and it is well made and appears sturdy and durable. The functionality would up to each individual.

I happen to LOVE miniature things! And this miniature lantern is so very cute! It actually has quite a bright light on it and is good for spot lighting a smaller area needed. And would be good even next to you in your tent while reading or setting up your specific area in your personal tent, etc. But not enough light to light up an entire family tent. I can't see using this as a camping lantern as you would a normal size lantern. The size of it just wouldn't cover the area a full sized lantern can cover, and I don't think they are advertising it this way either.I love the little stand it comes with to elevate the lantern. It has a strong magnet on the bottom and the hook on the top are both conveniences to be able to use the lantern in different circumstances. The amount of ambient light that it gives is perfect for using while socializing or if needed magnetized under the hood of your car as a handsfree flashlight. It definitely has it's uses for sure, and I like it very much!Like all BougeRV products, it is very well made, good quality products, and sturdy, durable craftsmanship, but I do think this one may be a bit over priced.

Plenty of light from a tiny light. Decent battery life and great to throw in your tent bag.
