Absolutely love this frame! As a parent 99.99% of my family photos used to live in my phone. My kids LOVE seeing our memories on a daily basis now!Convenient SD card slot also. I’ve been able to use it to load photos and bring this frame without Wi-Fi to display photos at a celebration of life as well as at a guest book station at my wedding! You won’t regret the purchase!I also love the auto timer. The frame is very bright so being able to have it turn off in the evenings and on again in the morning is great!

Ordered this digital picture frame as a Christmas present. It didn't arrive before Christmas, which was disappointing. Most likely the couriers problem rather than the supplier. The digital picture frame itself is just what I wanted. The picture quality is very good and the app to add pictures is very simple to use. Friends and family can add pictures directly to the frame from wherever they are, as long as they have an internet connection. This is a very nice feature. Unfortunately, the power adaptor for the frame has a US flat 2-pin plug. So if you want to use this in the UK then you will need a travel adaptor to convert this to a UK plug. The supplier has been very responsive to addressing this problem but cannot supply a UK power adaptor. I would definitely recommend this frame if you are willing to overcome the problem of the US style plug.

One of the downsides of having a phone in your pocket for several years, is that it can be hard to find a good way to enjoy the thousands of pictures we accumulate. This is one great solution to that problem :)The display can be set quite bright and has good color saturation, and while the 1280 x 800 resolution is slightly less than standard 1080p but more than adequate for a device of this size, rendering pictures and video very well, even if you are viewing it close up. The speakers produce clear sound with no distortion on the sound even when I turned the volume up all the way. The frame is quite lightweight without looking cheap or feeling delicate, and can be set as a stand or mounted on a wall. There is so much storage that I didn't even put a dent in its capacity after uploading over three thousand pictures.Initial setup was dead simple, and I had it set up in about 5 minutes, including putting it on my wifi, naming it, and getting an update downloaded and applied. You can tell that the product is designed to be accessible and usable for people even if they are not technonologically savvy. Setup is very intuitive and the included and onscreen instructions are easily understandable. It's easy to add friends and family if you'd like them to send you pictures too. Just generate a code and have them enter it into the Frameo app and you are in business. Most of us these days have had several years of carrying around a smartphone and have a substantial photo collection. The only way to make the frame any fun is to have it loaded up with pics, so the next part is a bit time consuming. You can load pics in a few different ways, via SD Card, USB drive, or the Frameo app. I already had the Frameo app on my phone because I had purchased an earlier model as a gift for my mother. The Frameo app is what you will use on a continual basis to keep adding the shots you take to your frame, and while it's very simple to use, it's simply not made for chunking thousands of pix at a time up to your frame. I tried out the SD card and used a USB thumb drive, and they do both work fine, but they are nowhere near as fast as this method you won't find in the manual: uploading directly from your computer.Since the time the frame was put on the market, there's been an update to the software, and an additional menu item was added to allow you to use the mini-USB port (marked as being for developer use only in the manual) to connect directly to your computer to transfer the pictures. This is *much* faster and 100% I recommend it over the other methods! Not only is the transfer speed just faster than SD/USB, it eliminates the step of having to copy everything twice, PC to USB, USB to frame. It was a very welcome change from the time I had bought the first frame.Once it's loaded with pictures, you can set the slideshow up the way you like, whether to show things like the date and time, weather icon, photo captions, times to wake or sleep, etc. When the mood takes you, you can open it up and scroll through and look at photos just like a digital photo album. Or you can just put it up on the shelf and let the slideshow roll on.I mentioned I had previously purchased a different Skyzoo frame a couple years ago as a gift for my mother. I was very happy with it, so I bought this newer model as the old one was no longer available. As I said then, "There are a *lot* of internet connected picture frames out there to choose from, ... and I think I grabbed the winner."

I love this frame. After researching so many digital frames, I found out this one can load 10k photos without having to pay a subscription for that many photos. It also will display and play videos. You can have friends and family download the Frameo app, and they can send pictures and videos directly to the frame. If you have the app set at having only access to certain photos, sometimes it is difficult to add more photos. When that happens, rather than struggle with it, I set the app to have access to all photos while I am sending the pics, and then put the app back to having access to only selected photos.Another nice feature is you can back up all the photos to an external hard drive or thumb drive. So within 24 hours we had over 800 photos on the frame (I bought it as a Mother's Day gift and sent the access code to the frame to siblings, their children, cousins, etc.) I backed up the photos on a thumb drive, bought another frame for another family member and loaded them on there.I then gave out the access code for that frame - now the different family members send pics to both frames often. I also uploaded the pictures from that thumb drive to Snapfish and printed all the pictures and put them in an album for a family member that loves photo albums.Oh, and people can write captions on the photos when they load them! You need access to Wi-Fi to receive photos. I had everyone load the pictures on the frame when it was at my home and gave the frame as a gift -with all the photos loaded on the frame. If someone doesn't have WiFi, you can still add all the photos yourself with your WiFi, and give it as a gift. The photos will display without WiFi, but you will not be able to send photos to the frame without Wifi. And one more thing. If you have the Honey app downloaded to your computer or phone - whatever you use to purchase from Amazon - put the frame in your cart and leave it there. It was $170, I put it in my cart and Honey alerted me to a day it was $129. THEN Honey alerted me to the day it was $101!!! A few days later it was back up to $159.You can set the display time to many different times. I finally settled on 3 seconds because of the number of photos. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. Setup took minutes.
