If you sew, you know how tricky threading a serger can be. One piece of paper was included with instructions to go on line for the manual.On line were hundreds of singer machines listed, sewing machines and sergers, different languages, and no logical way to find the one you want. I finally went on you tube to get it threaded. But now I have to figure out what some of the different dials and switches are for. Seems like the serger will be OK but for now, I can't comment on the quality of sewing because I am still trying to find the manual on this and to print it to make adjustments.

This was the perfect gift for our daughter as she was just expanding her sewing skills and she needed a surgery. She still learning so I can’t give a huge review on it because I don’t use it but she says yes it suits her needs and she is very happy with it so far. As far as durability, I can’t speak to that because she was only had it a few months and is still learning how to use it. I hope that she gets many many years of use out of it but I will try to do a follow-up review maybe in 12 months and get her input on it’s usability function, form, etc..

Aunque la primera que compre falló (no funcionaba el pedal) hice el reclamo en Amazon y me regresaron mi dinero, me arriesgué y compré una igual y está salió perfecta, funciona de maravilla si eres principiante, es fácil de enhebrar y es muy bonita. Es para uso doméstico.

Bought this because my lower looper was not picking up my thread so I always had to fenagal it myself. Got really old. This serger looked easier to thread and it did.Two features that I didn't like were:1) The "cut off" material didn't have anywhere to go except for my sewing table? Kinda messy in my opinion but I stole the other trim trap from my other serger machine.2) I know that the company wants us to help them reduce paper but it didn't come with any instruction manual. It's really nice to have for a quick look at something or when somebody else is borrowing. Otherwise, great product.

I have been sewing for almost 30 years and have never had a worse machine. I was so excited to upgrade my serger. The low price should have been a tip-off though.I spent 6 hours yesterday trying to make it work. The needles they sent broke almost instantly, and even when I changed to a heavier duty needle, they broke too. Upon inspection, the needles r not centered and pulled slightly to the right.Additionally, when I wasn't breaking needles, I couldn't get the threads to overlock at all. I repeatedly tried rethreading, thinking maybe I had missed a step or a thread had come loose to no avail. I tried every needed I owned plus a few I specifically bought just to try to make this machine work. I got a solid 5 inches of seam before the problems started. It's a good thing I have sewn on proper servers prior to this, because if I was a novice, this machine would make me want to quit before I even started. Normally the lack of an instruction booklet wouldn't be a problem for me, but the frustration of this machine just makes that the straw that broke the camels back because I couldn't even look up tips and tricks to help solve my issues.

I received but could open only after two weeks and from day I opened it’s not working! I tried everything, watched singer videos how to do it correctly, but it’s still not overlocking only stitching, so I decided to repair it in specialized repair shop and they said there is problem with timing!I have only headache with this overlock machine!

To start this is my 4th serger. I had the everyone’s first brother 1034D and it was a workhorse but eventually stopped performing well and timing would go off every month, becoming to frustrating to have fixed get back to only have 30 so days of use and start again.. I upgraded to the bernette serger which I immediately hated everything about down to the feel and returned, just didn’t vibe with me.. then splurged on a higher end juki which out of the box has issues with the left needle so I sent it in to be fixed, waiting months to even hear it’s been looked at led me to buy this on a whim just to be able to sew. Out of the box ready to go, extremely silent, fast, and is making me wish I just got 2 of these to keep threaded in black and white and never get the juki (which 4 months later still haven’t got back)Hoping for some sort of cut bin in future models of this, and presser feet attachments but overall I’m so happy with this $200 purchase and can’t believe how well it performs for its price point. This will be the serger I recommend to all sewists looking to get a serger.

I can’t believe I ever lived life before I had this machine. I have almost quit sewing out of frustration due to constantly having to rethread my previous singer server. I have had this Serger for nearly a week now and have never had to rethread it from the initial factory sealed set up. I’m the machine runs so smoothly like butter. Be mindful of your thread and keep piece of scrap fabric fed into the machine for easier transition. I’ve done some risky things just out of bad habit already and it still didn’t become unthreaded. Perfect for seeing street fabrics. It doesn’t come with a paper Manual you have view it as a pdf on your device of choice. Honestly I haven’t even looked at it yet and Ive already sewn to completion a garment that was expertly clean finished on the inside. It really looks professional. I’m so eager to sew now before I used to dread it but I really look forward to using this machine. Get it before the price shoots up. You will not regret it. This is truly the serger I have dreamt about owning my whole 15 year sewing career.
