If these are the ones I am thinking of, they were too small for my 10AWG wires. Only using waterproof heat shrink butt connectors from now on. Wouldn’t recommend for direct burial

These outdoor wire nuts are no way for 12 gauge combined. You may get one single 12 gauge and they’re very tiny as you can see from the picture the wire nuts you get from the big box. Stores are like four times bigger for outdoor lights.

Go with the large if you’re using to to link 2+ wires

Been buying these for years. Better quality and price than SiteOne and Ewing for professionals

Spec said 12awg was ok but too small for that gauge. Buy large and be happy

I use these for my invisible dog fence when we get breaks in the line. Keeps current intact in wet & cold weather.

I love these! They start easily on stranded wires, unlike the terrible home depot ones. Plenty of goop inside.

I have tried a number of different wire nuts for connecting low voltage LED landscape lights. Most suck. Or they’re too small. When you are connecting a fixture in a series, you’re putting at least 2 14 gauge wires and one small 16 wire into one nut. This medium was the perfect size. And it worked like a champ. Best one I’ve used yet and will continue to use for future projects.
