This is OEM. Don't buy generic...they don't last. Also, if traveling to Europe, bring a backup, or a high-quality converter....and don't use the US-style outlets in a hotel if equipped with one. I used one (in the-hotel bathroom) to charge my Nikon D7200 batteries and within minutes the charger (OEM Nikon MH-25a) stopped working. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with voltage differences. Later in the day my wife used a hair dryer (one we brought from the states) and it quickly overheated. Beware of these outlets in Europe for sensitive electronic equipment. Stick with a good travel converter and the UK/Eur outlets.
