It's amazing how well this works. Installation wasn't hard, but I procrastinated for awhile. This is a wonderful way to assist the battery on my ring spotlight cam and keep it powered without aid by me. Super handy and awesome. I like it a lot!

I bought these because the previous 2 either quit working after a day or 2 or never worked. These have worked every day for almost 6 weeks. My daughter bought these same which I installed today and they are working great. She ordered a second set and Amazon sent her somebody’s return wrapped in a plastic bag with no hardware.

I tried using on my stick up camera.The camera was working fine then stopped working and will not power back up. even with a different battery. Possibly the polarity was switched or something. I do not recommend this product for the ring stick up camera.I did some further investigation on this issue and found that inside the camera. It has shorted and then turned shorted all of the batteries out that I tried inside of the camera.Ring did send me a new camera and new battery and now I am stuck with three batteries that will no longer operate inside any of my ring devices. I do not recommend this solar panel. My ring was only installed 20 days before as a brand new unit and only worked two days after the solar panel was installed. The polarity was correct however the panel was putting out about 7.2 V DC.I checked the new battery with the three other batteries I have and it seems that it has burned out the internal chips inside of the battery’sThe batteries themselves on the inside of the ring pack are still with good voltage and are in good shapeI do not recommend this product for charging ring stick up camera batteries.

Do not use on 3rd generation Ring stick up cams. These panel fried three camrras before i realized the panels were the problem. I luckiky was able to get replacement cameras under warranty. Gonna try to repurpose the panels as pbone chargers using an old phone to test.

I have had this for awhile and after an initial peruse of the instructions - intimidation took over and I set it to the side. I finally made the commitment to and feel like a do-do head as it was really easy to put up. The mind is a terrible thing to waste...anyway, most of my Ring cameras are wired but I have some in out of the way places. One gets a lot of action facing the woods from wildlife and it is a must that I change the battery at least once if not twice a week. After installing this panel - I was happy about the length of cord offered in order to find a good location, but did not need it. I actually installed this too close to my Ring camera as it is in the picture - but so far I am kicking myself for waiting so long. I have not had to replace the battery for 2 weeks. I am still keeping an eye out for how it performs in adverse weather, duration, etc. and will update it if does not stand the test of time. For this price, I am getting more for my other Rings. Great product.
