I have tried several cheaper non-Nikon chargers and they all either don't work at all or work badly, Also, the fake ones have white lettering on them while the lettering on the real Nikon one is black and is harder to read. Also, keep in mind that the TO 220 style transistor that is at the power input inside the charger is only mounted by the leads. This means that it can easily come undone if the charger is dropped. I have broken a charger this way.. This is a design defect. I guess this allows them to sell more chargers.

Excellent purchase! Came in a Nikon packaged box, had the power cord AND the wall adapter plug. Included proper documentation, brand new as far as I can tell. Worth the extra cost to me for OEM equipment. Have only charged a couple of batteries, but seems to be working like it should!

Nice original product. Cables are suitable for indian sockets not like the ones shown in picture.

Después de experimentar con un cargador genérico me encontré esta maravilla original, nuevecito, que funciona perfectamente. Tenia mi cámara desde hace 15 días sin usarla debido a la falta de cargador, compré uno genérico pero me marcaba que la pila estaba dañada, afortunadamente me animé a comprar el original y la pila funciona perfectamente. Looks okay but only had a European plug (with no adapter). Picture showed the item with a U.S. plug. Now I have to find an adapter, replace the plug, or get a new cord.

Excited when I received and unpacked it. It’s exactly as is described and it is original.Changed the almost fully drained battery EN-EL17pretty quick (unfortunately didn’t time but I can say safely about two to three hours).

This is the original Nikon charger, I needed a second charger so I did not have to carry mine back and forth between my two homes. This one is identical to the charger that came with my D500. It is NOT a knock-off.

Excellent OEM charger. It works great and is an exact replacement to the original one that was purchased with my Nikon D500 that I dropped and broke.
