I do a lot of automotive wiring. The barrel is heavy enough to hold the wire after crimping. I would have preferred that the eyelet be a little larger on the OD, but they are not very different from the ones sold at the big auto parts stores for a LOT more money.

My husband ordered these to retrofit some of our solar sidewalk lights and make them electrical. He said they did exactly what he hoped so he's a happy camper!

I bought these for solder connections, and they are great for that once you remove the plastic insulator. If you want quality crimp connectors look elsewhere. Personally I don't trust crimp connectors because so many have failed on my boat, there are many other people that disagree with my opinion. I will buy the slightly larger size next week, these fit my terminal blocks perfectly.
