The worst vacuum ever it keeps stopping what a waste of money

Vacuum is easy to set up. I have an above ground pool on top of sand and it's not completely flat. The vacuum gets stuck a lot and at times in the middle of the pool where I couldn't reach it with the hook (pole not included). Did collect a lot of gunk, but will probably run it while I'm in there to keep moving it around when needed.

I loved it while it lasted. It only worked for two years.

This for me has been a very inexpensive way to keep my pool clean and not have to worry about cords or it raining on a control box. It charges fast, so I usually put it in the pool 2x a day after storms just to get out debris. This pool vacuum has good suction, and I normally only have to do it once. I store it on a silicone pad in the garage, and it charges and just sits until needed.

As arrived, box is brown but descriptiveOut of the box, unit is fairly solid with a nice rigid plastic exterior and firm handleUnit includes the vacuum, removal hook, instructions, power adapter (12.6V-a.0A) with all required safety markings, and 2 removeable brushesUnit charges via a port in the base and moves via 4 wheels, which alternate rotation to allow for navigationThere are 2 suction ports that focus on the sides of the vacuum – I found this may result in a finger-width line of missed dirt/sandIt has no AI, app control, or remote controlIt has a clearance of only ¼" so it can get hung up on ruts or bumpsTesting in the spa showed decent suction. Most previous above-ground pool vacuums lack suction to protect the pool; this one seems to work much better than my last with large items (leaves, reeds, bugs) suctioning up with 90% success and smaller items (dirt, small bugs, sand, silt) being about 70%. Most other vacuums do not perform well with small items so Im very happy so farUnit has a screen and comes apart easily to be washed outBattery lasts approx 60-75mins and takes about 3-3.5 hours to chargeOverall, its a pretty bare-bones vacuum that performs quite well for the price point

In my yard, there is a 50x50 foot concrete area, that has a drain. It seems that, no matter how much I keep it clean, during dry weather, whenever it rains, grass, leaves, and other yard debris gets washed in, causing the drain to plug. I used this pool vacuum as if I were using it in a pool, and it made a great difference.I manually plugged the drain, so it would purposely start filling with water, and as soon as it got to about 12 inches, I just dropped in this little vacuum, and let it run, until the power ran out, being careful to monitor the water level.Afterwards, when I unstopped the drain, the water flowed freely, and there was only enough debris left to fill a 2-quart plastic bag. I was also delighted with the amount of debris that the vacuum actually picked up.The look and shape of it is also pleasing, and the size is great for storage.

This automatic pool vacuum does an excellent job of picking up debris, from leaves to fine dirt. It leaves my pool spotless, but it struggles a bit with larger debris like twigs. Setting up this pool vacuum was straightforward, and it operates with minimal supervision. The instructions were clear, this vacuum works well for both in-ground and above-ground pools. It navigates corners and slopes effectively,

I haven’t had the chance to try the Gosvor Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner in my actual pool yet (pool season is still around the corner), but I did give it a quick test run in my hot tub mostly to check that I hadn't received a dud. It was easy to get started - just turn it on, place it in the water, and off it goes. It moved around without issue and had enough suction to pick up a very few small bits and debris, though a hot tub isn't really a fair test because there are so many corners. However, my initial impression is that I foresee this robotic cleaner hopefully being effective.I appreciate the simplicity of cleaning it out - popping open the filter and rinsing it is super simple. The self-parking feature is intriguing both for the notion that it charges itself but also that I hopefully never need to retrieve it from the middle of the pool with either a net or by taking a dip!For the price, it looks like a solid option for regular pool maintenance. Feeling optimistic!

This is wonderful vacuum, I really do not like to clean out the pool with the vacuum that comes with pools normally with the bag and you have to go really slow and you don't always get everything and it takes hours and hours to get the pool clean. Not with this pool cleaner. This is like a crockpot, set it and forget it. You charge your pool cleaner, following the directions place in the pool turn on and let it do its thing. Check on the machine every now and then and when it runs out of charge or done it won't move anymore. Take out empty clean and then put on the charger if it needs to go again. This is as simple as it gets. This is a very nice machine and well made good quality pool vacuum.

I can't comment out of season as to the performance of this pool cleaner. What I can say is the device is well made, it is easy to use without any complicated steps. Simple turn upside down and long press the power button, it beeps, just set the unit in the water. The unit is easy to empty and clean. There is a latch on each side. Open the unit and take out the filter. Just use water to clean and empty. Put the filter and housing back in place and latch closed. To turn the unit off, long press the power button again. The power adapter to charge the battery is included. Can't wait to try this out in pool season. If there are any concerns about performance, I'll update my review.

I have a 16x48” Intex and I typically use a corded vacuum but tends to get wrapped around the ladder. My water is still pretty cold so I’m not getting in to detangle the vacuum. I ordered this vacuum to help me get ready for opening and not have to get in the pool to rescue it, lol!Good solid build and charges completely in about 3 hours. I ordered a separate hook attachment, but this vacuum actually came with one!Press the button once and dropped it in the pool and watched it go! She’s got some speed and I was pleasantly surprised the volume of leaves and debris it held. It ran for the full 90 minutes and it did park itself at the edge of the pool when it ran out of battery. The hook worked great and it released the water pretty quick… beware that some of the finer stuff may dump back in when you pull it out.Super easy to empty and spray clean with a hose.I am pleased and I know this little cordless vacuum will be a great addition to my pool maintenance routine this summer!

Even though we're still bundled up in winter coats, I couldn't resist getting a head start on pool season by ordering this Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner. While I haven't been able to test it in action yet, I'm already impressed by several features that have me eagerly anticipating warmer days. What I love most about this pool vacuum is its cordless design. No more tangled cords or limited reach, this little robot promises to freely roam my above ground pool, reaching every nook and cranny. The 90-minute runtime seems generous for my pool size, and I'm thrilled about the self-parking feature. The thought of not having to fish out a cleaner manually is a big win in my book. Its compact, portable design also means easy storage during the off-season, which is perfect for my limited space. However, there are a few concerns I'll need to keep an eye on when pool season finally arrives. I'm a bit skeptical about how well it will handle larger debris like leaves, which tend to be a problem in my yard. The white color, while sleek, might show dirt and algae more easily than a darker shade. I'm also curious about how well the battery will hold up over time, as this is often a weak point for cordless devices.Despite these potential drawbacks, I'm looking forward to putting this robotic cleaner to work in my above-ground pool this summer. The promise of effortless pool maintenance has me dreaming of lazy days by the water, without the constant worry of manual cleaning. While the true test will come when the ice thaws and the pool cover come off, this little robot has already got me excited for the sunny days ahead.

This above pool vacuum can suck out the dirt and leaves from an 860 square foot pool on a single charge. That’s amazing! To put that in perspective, that’s 80 square meters which could be circular pool that’s 33 feet (10 meters) across or an oval pool a bit larger than 20 feet (6 meters) by 40 feet (12 meters). You probably aren’t going to have a bigger above-ground pool than that!Even in a much smaller pool, the idea of cleaning it every week is a real time commitment if you don’t have a robotic pool vacuum.Fortunately, this Gosvor pool robot is only $200 (which is cheaper than a Roomba!) and it looks very easy to use.I’m not sure how well it can reduce the algae in your pool. The brushes look very small and they should instead be a wide brush that goes across the entire front of the machine like it would in an upright vacuum cleaner. This robot is also only for flat-bottomed pools and it will not climb the walls. To be fair, if you are keeping the water in your pool constantly moving with a speed pump, regularly cleaning your filter, managing your phosphates, maintaining appropriate chlorine levels and using an algaecide when necessary, then algae shouldn’t be much of a problem. These are all things you should be doing to keep your pool healthy, anyway. As it’s January I haven’t tried out this pool vacuum but to me it looks like a solid purchase. Before you buy, though, ask the manufacturer if there are any replacement parts available, especially the brushes.
