Easy to program, shares a common GUI with the UV-5RM series, looks kickass, and is well worth the price. Fits decently in the hand, puts out good power, and sounds amazing.

This is a great price on a two great radios....if you want to have something for communication other than a cell phone...these are a nice option.

Great radio, wide range of operation.Included antenna isn’t much larger than stock. Also you’ll need a data cable for programming.

My best friend bought a pair to try. I decided to buy a pair to test out. These do everything my Kenwood D74 does except Dstar and APRS, for a tiny fraction of the price.Definitely easy to program and use.Range and audio quality is great.

I love these walkie talkies. They're more than that. They're hand-held ham radios. We get clear reception from two blocks away. Voices come through clear with no static. They ARE more complicated to operate than regular walkie-talkies, but that's because of their complex nature. Directions are terrible, but there's plenty of online resources to show how to use them. These are a great asset to have in a storm.

These are a bit more complicated to use than I initially thought, but there is plenty of information on YouTube and other sites that will guide you through how to use them. I believed they would be useful to have, but they are a product that will be ready for me to use when I need them.

A tri-bander at this price point is unheard of. Radio works fine. in fact seems to have better range than a more expensive brand. Programming with Chirp is simple, not so much trying to do it manually. Early model came with two antennas, a dual band 2-meter/440 and a 220 monoband. Later model came with a single tri-band antenna. That one seems to work OK. A great radio to take places where it may get banged around a bit. If broken, too bad, get another one.
