I tend to splurge on name brand tools and this little tool has them all beat! It's so powerful, easy to use and will for sure built to last! It's not too noisy and just so functional! I can't recommend this tool enough! It comes with everything and it's amazing value for its price!

I have been and avid DIY guy for years and never know this product existed.What an absolute game changer. Very powerful -I have used it for cutting wood, metal, pvc--everything and the sanding feature is excellent.Absolutely my go to tool for a great many jobs.I would recommend buying the 112 piece tool set as well because once you start using this the possibilities for what it can do are endless

Avid Oscillating Tool, corded electric. Pretty standard unit, its power is very good. Ergonomics are good as the barrel of the body is narrow enough to get about 3/4 grip around it so control is quite good. The control switch is simple On/Off with no auto release. You get a selection of various cutting heads and an adaptor for small triangular hook and loop sandpaper. Go lightly with the sandpaper as this little unit packs a lot of power and can easily over sand IMO. But with a light touch this is pretty good at getting into tight corner angles.Aivd is a Chinese tool maker with a mixed track record on tool longevity. If your going to be using this oscillating tool heavily, I'd probably look elsewhere. On the other hand there is not much that can really go wrong with this tool other then the eccentric offset breaking or the motor just quits. So if it's only used occasionally it will do the job and do it at a decent price and could likely last for quite a while.

I love DIY. I got into it a few years ago (a little late in life, late 30s) and it's taken hold of me. There's something freeing about being to look at something, regardless of what it is, and find a new way to use it, or to take something that is broken and make it whole again. I quickly learned that having the right tool is the difference between "project done" and "project will take three more days". I already owned a Dremel oscillating tool, but it never impressed me, so I was looking for an upgrade. When I saw this one I had to try it.It arrived in a nice box and contained the tool and all of the promised accessories. Everything was in near-mint condition.First off, this thing is heavy and heavy duty. It has a very robust build, and it screams quality. Setup isn't difficult if you've used an oscillating tool before. You just attach the blade/accessory and hit the power.For cutting this thing is amazing! We had to remove some wood from a piece of furniture, and using the included blades it melted right through it. It works soooo much better than the Dremel! The blade stayed tight in the tool throughout, so I don't foresee any safety issues.Next we tested the sanding pad. It makes quick work of whatever we tried it on. Very fast to sand and very even.Overall I'm thrilled with this oscillating tool. It checks all of the boxes for an oscillating tool, and is much more powerful than a name brand alternative.

This is a very nice, and hefty tool. I like the weight of it in my hand and the tool itself is quite solid. I also like the accessories that are included with the oscillating tool; they are made of heavier guage metal than your typical scrapers and cutters. 60-120 grit sanding pads are also included to get you started.This is a nice tool to have in your shop.

Good Powerful 2.0A Oscillating Tool. I've had Great Results with Avid Power Tools.Good powerful 2.0A Avid oscillating tool for precision work.Avid Power tools get positive industry reviews. Based on those reviews, I own 3 other Avid Power tools & they have performed very well & consistently. I've had good experiences with Avid, & so far this device works great, too.Avid tools are simple (no complex features); have a lot of power; easy operation (no complications/issues; & fully compatible with other attachments. I've been very satisfied & I highly recommend trying them.This time, I need an oscillating tool for more precision work than an angle grinder (also Avid) can accomplish.
