I just bought another truck so picked up some extra shackles to keep with it. They are marked with a working load limit of 4 3/4 tons(9500 lbs). Should be good for most non commercial vehicles. I’m always finding myself loading heavy stuff, winching logs or stumps, so these will be perfect for rigging.

I picked up these heavy-duty D-ring shackles to add to my off-road gear, and while I haven’t had to put them to the test yet, they feel incredibly sturdy and well-made. These units actually have the working load limit cast / forged into the steel. It is my understanding that you should not trust any sort of rigging equipment that does not have this, so I would trust these a bit more than some of the ones that I've reviewed.The threads are not the smoothest that I've ever dealt with, but they're not the worst either.

These shackles are solid!! I am using them for rigging when pulling stuff that is stuck in the mud. They haven't let me down yet. I will get a few more.
