I’ve had a few floating skimmers before, including one that constantly got stuck by the pool ladder. This one actually moves around intelligently, and the self-parking feature makes a big difference. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect (it can miss debris on super windy days), but for general maintenance, it’s a solid pick.

I’m really impressed with this solar-powered pool cleaner! It’s fully automatic. Without lifting a finger, it thoroughly scrubs every corner of my pool, leaving the water crystal - clear. A must - have for pool owners!

This thing is awesome, and a must have for any pool owner. One of my biggest issues with pools is the dirt and bugs on the surface when swimming, and this thing really makes a difference!! Wish I had known about it sooner. Highly recommended!!

I love the Y80 solar skimmer robot! All I had to do was expanding the robot, and it started working right away. The solar charging is very convenient and I also appreciate the dual charging options. It runs all day, quietly collecting leaves, bugs, and other debris from the surface.I just let it run on its own course so the remote does not really play a big part in how I maintain my pool even though it is a nice bonus. I think the remote would be an amazing asset for those who want to be in control of everything!Our pool stays clean with minimal effort now. I would recommend this skimmer to anyone looking for a low-maintenance solution at a low price!

I absolutely love it. I use to spend a couple of hour everyday skimming manually all the leaves and dirt floating in the pool as we have a lot of trees around the pool and it still wasn’t totally clean but with this solar skimmer it skims up every little speck floating in the pool.. My pool has never looked cleaner.

This solar power cleaner is exactly what we needed. I love that we no longer have to use our electricity to clean our pool and that this runs on its own. It comes with a remote so I can program it that way and don’t have to get into the pool to turn it on. Has kept our pool super clean especially since we have a ton of trees everywhere and the leaves fall in and this picks up everything. Also great that we can use it in our saltwater pool.
