I saw this pool vac via the Amazon Vine program and ordered it for our pool.When the item arrived I opened the box and removed the contents. There was the vac itself, charging cord, plastic hook to attach to your pool pole to lift the vac out of your pool and the detailed user friendly manual. Following the directions I plugged the vac in and charged it. It took roughly 1.5 hrs fully charge due to the fact it had a partial charge already. Set up was simple. I chose the auto mode out of the 4 modes available so it cleans the bottom and the walls and then changed it to eco mode so it goes to sleep and 48 hrs later it automatically wakes up and clean the floors only for 45 mins. It will do this every 48 hrs for a week then it needs to be charged again. I love the fact that this unit actually climbs the wall right up and partially out of the water line getting everything. No more scrubbing the walls! The pick up basket is large and easy to remove for cleaning.This pool vac is a game changer for cleaning your pool and no more manual vacuuming unless you shock your pool. This is a must have item for every pool owner.

I got this to bring down to my parents’ place in Palm Springs, and it has seriously exceeded expectations. Right out of the box, setup was simple and straightforward. The design is sleek and sturdy, and it charged up quickly. Once it hit the water, we were blown away by how efficiently it moved—no random wavering. It covers the entire pool in a logical pattern and doesn’t miss spots like older models we’ve used.The over-the-waterline scrubbing is a huge bonus. Most robotic cleaners just handle the floor, but this one actually climbs and scrubs the walls and waterline, which is where a lot of grime tends to build up. The results are impressive—crystal clear and noticeably cleaner pool surfaces. It handles both the inground pool and a smaller above-ground one without any issues, and the battery life (around 150 minutes) is more than enough to finish a full clean on one charge.Cleaning the unit afterward is also super easy. The Aiper Scuba S1 is an impressive robotic pool cleaner that makes pool maintenance much easier. The 150-minute battery life is excellent, and it covers the entire 1600 sq. ft. pool area efficiently. The WavePath 2.0 navigation is smart and accurate, and the over-the-waterline scrubbing is a great bonus—it really gets the waterline clean without manual effort. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because occasionally it misses a small spot or two, requiring a quick manual touch-up. Still, it's a huge time-saver and well worth the investment.

There was another hook I was looking at besides this one. The other reviews on that one commented about how flimsy it felt, so I decided to give this one a chance.This is also plastic but it feels very sturdy. I pulled on it more than I think the weight of the cordless vacuum would be and the plastic barely flexed. The slight flexibility gives me hope that this will be durable to wear and tear. I just can't test how well it stands up to chlorine, so that will have to wait until the end of summer or at least when I get the pool open. I live in an area that is not pool ready just yet. I definitely think this feels like a sturdy option and I'm happy with it.

This hook fits perfectly in a universal pool pole, and snaps in place easily. I like the design better than the original hook it is replacing, since the part lifting the robot is longer and flatter, and therefore more secure. My only comment is that the material is lightweight plastic, so I'm sure eventually it too, will crack, especially if left out in extremes of weather like we get in this part of the country.
