Pretty good Xbox controller overall, that has an actual Microsoft chip within it.The buttons, triggers, thumbsticks, and D-pad all feel like an original xbox type controller. Thumbsticks kept near zero, and did not have any noticeable stick drift or deadzones.Connected to my xbox wirelessly, syncing went as expected and there were no connection issues. It does not include any batteries, but AA batteries and all of my aftermarket rechargable batteries worked.Taking a look inside, there were two different thumbstick potentiometer type. For the cost, its a pretty good replacement controller for an xbox, as it is working just as well as the first party version.

If you're looking for another wireless controller at a cheaper price this works well. They have conflicting statements as to if it comes with batteries. It does NOT come with batteries. It takes AAs or the MS charge in play battery fits as well. In comparison with MS controller, this one is the same size, lighter, and the buttons and thumb sticks are stiffer. The xbox has no issues recognizing it. The settings and ability to update the controller through xbox is the same.

There are no instructions with the controller. The description is confusing. It points to a USB-C slot and states it's the 3.5mm headphone input. It states that AA rechargeable batteries are included but then states the batteries must be purchased. For clarity, this controller does not come with any batteries and needs batteries to work wirelessly. I had AA rechargeable batteries on hand already and they have their own charger. I'm not sure if the USB-C slot allows for the controller to recharge the batteries that I inserted since there is no indicator light showing that something is charging. I decided to just charge the batteries outside of the controller. The USB-slot does allow you to connect the controller to a computer to use it if you don't have batteries (obviously, it's not wireless using this method).Past that, the controller itself works okay. I was able to connect via bluetooth to my PC with no issues. I figured out that you need to hold the tiny button on the top-left of the controller until the center button flashes rapidly to connect to Bluetooth. There is another mode where it flashes slowly. I'm guessing the slow flashing mode is to connect to an XBox, but I have no idea since there are no instructions. The buttons sometimes get stuck so I wouldn't recommend it for a high-paced or twitchy game. Good for a backup controller or a controller to use when you need multiple players. I wouldn't buy another one.
