For stud wall, only need to pre-drilled the wood and screws went in the wall;
For drywall ,it will need to screw WINGO metal anchors in the top two holes ,then, drive the screws into the drywall.
Don’t forget to adjust the nut that bottoms out on the base when you screw the fork into the base.

My nephew's bedroom is a disaster but he's starting to take guitar lessons and needs a safe place to store his guitar. This was a great option! It's super easy to put up. It keeps his guitar off the ground and out of the way, avoiding accidents. It's really sturdy so it seems like it's going to be a long term option. It also looks really nice, which is an added bonus.

This is a pretty standard two-hole hanger. Some assembly required but you don't need tools for that. It comes with two different kinds of anchors - the typical plastic for solid walls (like concrete or cinder block) and a couple massive metal anchors for hollow walls. Your axe will hang safely from this guy. The arms are close enough to also fit a Ukulele.

Great little guitar wall mounting kit. It comes with all the hardware required. It includes normal plastic drywall plugs as well as heavy duty steel drywall anchors with longer screws (for heavy guitars). The normal plugs work fine for my full size classical guitar (see photos).Setup takes 5 minutes and is super simple. The piece that holds the guitar can accommodate guitars with skinny or wider necks. My electric telecaster also fits.It's minimalist and looks great. Highly recommend to anyone looking to free up floor space by mounting their guitars on the wall!

I got this for a ukelele, not knowing if it would be too big, but it works perfectly-just as it would for a guitar. The package comes with both 'light' drywall anchors as well as more 'heavy-duty' drywall anchors so that you can mount it anywhere you'd like and so that it will hold even the heaviest of guitars. Very low profile, easy to install, looks great!

I have several guitars, and like to keep them out of their cases (thats the best way to make sure they get played often), but will small children, I don't like to keep them on the floor.These mounts keep them up off the floor, hold them securely, and I feel confident my guitars are held securely. They also look nice. I especially like the rubber ring on the end that adds a level of security some of my other mounts do not have. Recommended!

This does an amazing job holding up my electric guitar, it might actually get me back into learning again. I had kind of shoved my guitar into the closet and forgotten about it, so I wanted something like this to encourage me to pick it up once in a while. I had no issues mounting it into drywall, and it has been several hours since I installed it with no problems holding the guitar up.

I've heard warnings about wall hangers for guitars. Some people argue that they have a risk of coming loose and falling off the wall. I suppose there is some legitimacy to that claim, but if you anchor the unit properly in the studs of the wall with adequate screws, I don't see where there could be much of a failure.This hanger offers good screw holes, and you can use the included screws or supply longer ones to your own specifications. I installed this in my home studio, and it holds my acoustic just fine. Of course, I'm not going to hang my expensive metal bodied dobro off this, as I want to be safe. But, I'm not really worried about it.It has a nice wood coloured back plate, and the hanger itself is rubberized to protect your instrument.I'm happy with this item.

I don’t trust my guitars to just any hanger, I like this one, because the solid wood block attaches to the studs in the wall really well, and I love the heavy and strong metal hooks, because I know they will stand up to the weight of my guitar. This wall hanger comes in two pieces, but easily goes together and is really sturdy once assembled and screwed into a stud.

It's a nice hanger for the guitar but I find it to be somewhat on the boring side. It's a block of wood, supposedly black walnut, but there is no pop of color or grain. We have a lot of black walnut and it has beautiful grain and color but, unfortunately, there's none of that in this hanger. It does the job tho. As far as price, it's reasonable if you have only 1 guitar but if you have multiple look for a multi pack as they're only a couple dollars more.
