My wife and I have a number of Fender and Gibson guitars. These have radically different shaped headstocks. These are perfect for any headstock on a thin (narrow body) guitar. They're unobtrusive, sturdy, and do a great job of keeping the guitars out of harms way when not being played. And they display the guitars on the wall, like the fine art we believe they are.

I won a Heineken guitar at a local liquor store and wanted to display it in my office. This hanger was perfect — attractive, protective, and easy to put up. Highly recommended.

I wanted to hang up four of my guitars on my wall and went ahead and purchased this. Shipping was smooth and trouble-free, and the product is extremely sturdy and well built. Remember that if your guitar has an asymmetrical headstock, because it can twist, it can still be hung up in the perfect position. Personally, I didn't have much use for the rubber bits at the end to "secure" my guitar, so to make taking guitars on and off easier I just didn't use them. I highly recommend putting on a long piece of wood on the wall, and then putting the hangers on that if you want to hang multiple guitars side by side which is what I recommend. Holds up my bulky basswood/maple Spector bass with no problem. Great product.

Bought two of these. Spent about 15 minutes between measuring, drilling, installing the mount on the wall (with my own screws, I have brick walls, I believe the provided screws are for wooden studs or drywall) and I was ready to hang my basses. It looks sturdy enough holding 2 jazz basses in the 9 pound weight range. It's a lot more handy to pick up your bass from the wall than get if from a case, and it doesn't take floor real estate like a stand. Love it.It's not really clear from the product description, I guessed it from the pictures when I ordered, this is the narrow body model. If you plan on hanging an acoustic instrument with this, it will be in contact with the wall, which is not what you want. I estimate my basses hang about 1.5 to 2 inches from the wall.

If you screw the guitar holder all the way into the plate, it goes in farther than the plate and may mar the drywall underneath it, requiring minor repairs. This problem is averted by installing the holder almost all the way in, then as soon as you feel any resistance, backing it out a turn. Still plenty of threads to hold any guitar up.

Perhaps this item is overkill, but I purchased two of these to hang guitar hero/rock band guitars for Playstation 2 inside of a wooden armoire. These are perfect for that function as the width between the arms of this hanger fits either guitar neck perfectly. In addition, the arms can be bent to some degree to hold necks of different sizes. Obviously, those guitars are not nearly as heavy as a "real" guitar, but I think I would feel comfortable putting a lot more weight onto these hangers. I would be worried that the screws would pull out of the wall before the hanger itself would break, and that is only because I used smaller screws so they wouldn't punch through the sides of the armoire. If you are looked for a solution to hang your "guitars" up and out of the way, these may be a good option.

I really love these guitar wall hangers. They have all that you would want in a wall hanger. They are classy, extremely simple, and they hold the guitar very snug. I like to fidget with my guitars quite a bit, these really don't lose any snugness over time, which is fantastic.
