I got the Model S version of these so that I could do some car camping. All of them work well except the rear windshield one does not stay up for me. The included suction cups hold all of the others, except this one I think because it was cold outside and this one has to cling up instead of just to the side. That was pretty annoying, it fell off over and over during the night, so I kept waking up to put it back up just for it to fall again.As others have mentioned they aren't complete blackout or coverage, but you can adjust them pretty easily to cover what you need, and they provide a good amount of darkness. Not sure about heat blocking, since the weather was moderate and in camp mode. Also I have no idea what the 3 included clips are for.

I bought these sunshades for my Tesla Model Y, and they’re perfect for keeping the car cool and private. The installation was quick, and they fit the windows well, though I did struggle a bit with folding the windshield shade initially. It’s been a huge help during sunny days, and I love that it reduces heat inside the car. The shades are easy to store in the pouch when not in use. The only thing I’d improve is making the rear window shades a little easier to adjust. Still, overall, a great product!

I like these window shades pretty well, but you'll have to decide for yourself how much you value their use. As others have said, having a black material will absorb heat in the daylight. You're also just sort of wedging the shades into your window frames, so you're not going to get 100% light blocking for a pitch-black interior. You'll always have a little bit of light leak without extra effort. These serve their purpose, but come with expected inconveniences, such as the frameless windows that vent slightly when you open the doors. Overall they provide privacy better than they provide light blocking.

This sun shade kit comes as a complete 8-piece set, designed with individual pieces custom-cut for every window in the Tesla Model Y – that includes the front windshield, the large rear glass, all four door windows, and even the little front triangle windows by the A-pillars. The shades themselves feel like they're constructed from a multi-layer fabric material; one side is typically a reflective silver finish meant to face outward, while the interior-facing side is black. There seems to be some insulating material sandwiched between these layers. Installing them is mostly a matter of pressing each shaped piece into its corresponding window frame; the tension and custom shape hold them securely in place, though some kits might use small clips for certain windows just to be extra sure. The fit for each piece is generally quite precise, covering nearly the entire glass surface. With the full 8-piece set installed, the car's interior becomes significantly dark, providing excellent privacy if you're camping, napping, or just want seclusion. You can also definitely feel a difference in the interior temperature; the shades do a good job blocking solar heat gain and acting as a thermal insulator. They usually fold down (often with a twisting motion) into a storage bag, becoming relatively compact, although mastering the fold sometimes takes a couple of tries. Overall, it's a very effective solution for getting complete window coverage, privacy, and noticeable heat reduction inside the Model Y.

This works very well. It comes with a nice storage bag but it's still pretty large even though it's flat. I'm using this for the car in camping mode it does a good job keeping the light out and giving me privacy in the car at night. The fit is good and it does take some effort to get them all in but once in it's great.
