These are light weight and only connect using tiny magnets so they only connected long the top by the door frame on my Honda CRV. Interiors of doors are plastic, not metal so these will just barely connect to the interior of a vehicle. The material did cover the rear windows but did not cover the front so be aware that there is going to be a gap. If you’re wanting something for car camping, these will do for a short period but I will be looking for something that fits better.

First, the description when I initially ordered said these were static cling. I was confused when I received the item and it appeared to have tiny magnets that attach to the interior frame of your car window. The seller has since updated the listing description to denote the use of magnets.The front window shades still left around a 3" gap on the edge of my sedan window, but the larger rear shade fits well size-wise. The small ~3mm magnets are housed in the top edge of the shade and I personally feel there are too few spaced far apart from each other so installation while not difficult, can be a little annoying. On the plus side, once you are able to get them on, they do perform as advertised and blocks out even direct sunlight.I think the product can be improved by adding more magnets on the top edge, and maybe even some on the bottom edge to more securely fix the shade to the window. While it does work at block out light and providing some privacy, for the price of $17.99, I think the price is a tad bit high for what you get.
