I go through many car sun shades to block windshield heat every year; from umbrella type to folded to quilted and every type in between. When I saw that the JJMY Store on Amazon was offering sunshades for specific makes and models of cars, specifically the Chevy Equinox which I have, I decided I wanted to try the Windshield Sun Shade for Chevrolet Equinox 2018-2023 2024 2025, Foldable Front Windshield Sunshade Protector. They said the sunshade would be a perfect fit for my 2021 Equinox - check - it was a perfect fit. It fits the windshield like a glove. It has straps and velcro closure around the rearview mirror and left no glass uncovered. It is lightweight and so easy to install. One just removes it from the special pouch where it was spring-compressed into a smaller footprint. When lifted into place, the two connected panels spread out across the windshield and it installs in seconds and is held in place by the mirror and the dash. One side is silver reflective material that repels the sun's rays and the other side is a black insulation layer (from the description: 240T reflective fabric, higher density, double layer design including black heat insulation layer and silver reflective layer).This product is a keeper and I look to a long future using it in my Chevy. Well, that is, as long as I have the Equinox. I would recommend this sunshade to keep your car cooler sitting in the summer sun.-Keep Your Vehicle Cooler

The fit on this is perfect for my 2020 Chevy Equinox. Very easy to use and put away. I'm just hoping that it will filter out the Arizona sun when it gets to be 115 F.

I am so happy I got this for my 2020 Equinox! When the sun is out this baby gets hot and there are just too many birds around for me to leave the sunroof open. This pops up and closes like a smaller flatter pop up tent. It's super easy and intuitive. It came with directions, but they weren't necessary. It's the perfect size and shape to block out the sun and the reflective side really works. It was hard to take a picture because it was bouncing sunlight back in my face. I can't think of a way to make it any better and at this price it was an obvious must buy for my summer comfort. Sure, a sale would be great, but don't wait around sweating in your hot car; you will be so happy you bought this!

This sunshade fits my Chevy Trailblazer well and does a great job blocking sunlight and keeping the interior cooler. The material feels durable, and it folds out easily to cover the whole windshield. My only complaint is that folding it back up can be a little frustrating, and it takes a few tries to get it compact again. That said, once it’s in place, it works exactly as advertised. A solid accessory if you want to protect your dash and cut down on heat.

Living in Florida, I have been using a windshield shade for many years during the hot months. I like my current one, but it has 2 issues. The first is that the elastic strap that you use to keep it folded up when not being used is finally getting stretched out. The other issue is that while it does a good job, it doesn't block 100% of the sun from coming through the windshield. There are plenty of gaps, but despite that, it still worked good. I tried ordering one of the umbrella style windshield shades for my car, but even though it claimed to fit my car, it did not. I returned that and I ordered this one. This fits really good. So good, it covers about 95% of my windshield. It is easy to put up, and it was easy to fold up and place back in the storage bag. I also like how it blocks more of the sunlight out, like having a blackout curtain up on the windshield. If I had to recommend 1 improvement to the manufacturer, it would be to put some nice designs on the side facing the windshield. My old one looked like a pair of sunglasses with a tropical theme on the sunglass shades. Despite not having a design, I'm still giving this 5 stars.

Purchased for my 2025 Chevy Trailblazer Activ and it fits perfectly. I was worried about the size since upgrading vehicles and realizing my old sunshade was way too big.

This sunshade is perfect for my 2023 Chevy Trailblazer LT front windshield. It has a very tight fit when placed correctly and has minimal light bleed through only in the 4 corners due to the design of this being metal inside that needs to be easily folded to store in a small included zipper bag. The material is lightweight and is black on the interior and a reflective silver on the exterior facing side. The reflective side is not mirrored, just reflective matte silver so it doesn't cause terrible reflections for others when you install it. The entire build is good quality and the price is fair for the quality you are receiving.I am including some photos of the packaging and the install. The corner shots are the amount of light that will still get through. The edges are still tight to the interior windshield and it stays just fine. In the middle near the mirror there is a slit to allow coverage in front of the mirror and velcro to hold it over the mirror. My dash cam still has room to stay on with the sunshade on and does not push enough to pop the shade off all day long.The heat is greatly reduced from having this shade. When I got into my car around 11am (I live in the south USA) outside was hot in the 80s but inside was easily 15 degrees cooler, the seats and steering wheel were both cool to the touch still. I feel this shade does an excellent job at keeping the interior cooler.I would certainly purchase items from this manufacturer again in the future if I wanted to, no problems with anything.The shade comes in a circle shape and in the included bag and all of that is inside a clear square shaped generic bag from Amazon with minimal instruction sheet to help with the install (not needed really as this installs like other shades do).
