it is not a part can be easily got from local hardware store by walking in. So I gave this one a try. It compatible pretty well with the washer. The installation is simple with one to one replacement to the electrical connections and plumbings. The most of effort is actually opening the body of the washer to get access to the drain pump. The old and new part looks the same. The washer resumed to normal operation after the replacement with faster draining speed in my opinion.

Replaced my broken drain pump on my DE WH23X24178. Easy enough to install and worked like a charm. Has my washing machine running smoothly and a lot quieter. It's made of high quality parts and truly is waterproof with no issues. Prior to replacing my drain pump there was noticeable water leaks and the washer wouldn't clean properly and this replacement solved both of those issues.

Fit snug on my GE washer. Repair was doable even if you aren't an experienced handyman. Comes with everything needed to replace a dead drain pump and get your washing machine running beautifully again without needing to replace the whole unit. The material feels sturdy and durable and should easily outlast this washing machine. Happy to completely fix my washing machine for under forty bucks.

Ever since my laundry machine wasn’t drying my clothes properly, I knew something was wrong. Everything was super wet at the end of the cycle and I couldn’t find what was wrong with it, until I thought about the drainage area. I was thinking I might as well try to replace the drain pump to see if that’s the problem. I ordered this pump and delivery came super quick. Directions were easy to follow, but I still had a hard time removing the old pump. Once it’s out, installation was super easy putting it in in reverse steps. I’m so glad that I had ordered this because it sure did fix my washing machine problem very quickly.
