Facile à utiliser. Demande quand même quelques entraînements pour savoir comment doser la vitesse et la pression pour faire de belles soudures selon le plastique utilisé.

I love having this took in my craft drawer for random purposes. My favourite way to use it, is to melt a small hole in plastic ink cartridges (for inkjet printers) so I can refill them with 3rd party ink. I also use this tool to adhere / close shrink wrap around objects before hitting them with a heat gun and shrinking the plastic. My only annoyance is that it came with a non-australian plug so I had to use a converter. But the tool itself works great.

Considering the price I had to pay (which I thought was over priced, but thought it was a cool tool to have) it didn't work. Bought another one and the same problem.

I love this tool. I use it for sealing pictures, documents, letters in readily available plastic sleeves.It is a great solution for those folks who deal with family archiving, picture collections or even just collecting postcards, etc.The temperature control is just perfect and the little rolling heads just keep working.I use the 220V version and it has been in use for a couple of years.A highly recommended product.

I purchased this tool for my card making business. I was impressed by the video of another crafter using it with ease and precision. the item she used it for was common and I often do the same craft. But, when using, I find it is not that easy as I am having difficulties finding the appropriate materials it will fuse. In other words, it didn't do what I purchased it for.

I am so happy I found this tool! It arrived only yesterday, but I already managed to fuse over 20 plastic bags (made of celophane) which were just too big for my needs. This tool can be used with celophane foil and bags which is a big advantage - you may use it to make custom celophane pockets/bags of any size and they will look like factory-made bags. The line fused with fuse tip is very narrow, but it is strong enough to keep my bag sealed.I read very carefully the review with the safety issue and I would like to confirm that with the UK version of this tool one has to be much more careful than with the US one due to a missing metal collar. I use this tool on a very stable base - the kitchen table - which is excellent for this purpose - I can be sure that the tool will not fall off from the tiny stand, because entire cable is placed on the table. Anyway I agree that the US version is designed in a better and more secure way.
