I ordered this part for my top load lg washer. When I installed it my washer started acting crazy. I tried several different things for a week but could not get it to work. I ended up putting the old part back and it worked fine. I will have to order an original from LG water inlet valve I guess because its still leaking water inside the machine a bit.

This part was to be compatible, it is close but not exact. Where water hoses attach the manufacturer LG has a "boss," on the machine to hold that fitting tight, this unit is about 1/8" to short when you line up screw holes. My model LG WT170cw. I've installed and hope for best.

I purchased this item for an LG WT1201CV. The part fit nicely and seemed to work at first, but I found a fairly large puddle of water after the first load. I wiped it up and tried again, but got another large puddle. Also tried to re-install and double-checked all connections. Nothing worked.Eventually, I caved and bought the official replacement part from the manufactured, which worked perfectly.Thus part might work, but it doesn't work for WT1201CV
