Received the part and installed in about an hour to include turning off water, power and removing/replacing the dishwasher to its cubby. Appears to be an official LG part, and matches my original exactly. The model I installed this into is the LDF8764ST. I scoured the internet for installation videos for this model and part, but could not find any. That being said items to note:1. This part is replaced through the bottom of the unit, nothing inside needs to be taken apart.2. The dishwasher must be removed from its location and tipped onto its back.3. Use dish soap for the hoses and heating element rubber parts when reinstalling.4. The hoses are a pain to put back on, because the clamps make it hard to manipulate, but it can be done.5. The order of disassembly steps after power has been disconnected, water has been shut off, the drain line has been secured, the unit has been removed from its cubby and laid on its back are:A. Take a picture of the old one installed for further reference.B. Unplug heating element wire connectors.C. Remove the heating element nut in the middle, this relaxes the rubber plug in the hole.D. Pry the heating element out with a flat head screwdriver using caution not to damage the rubber.E. Remove the hoses/clamps.F. Remove the 4 screws holding the pump housing into the dishwasher bottom (two behind where the heating element wires plug on, and one on each bottom corner. (Compare old with new to identify the screw locations).G. Carefully pull the housing off, and unplug the motor connector.Reverse steps to reinstall using dish soap on rubber parts for lubrication. It's probably not a horrible idea to replace the heating element at the same time if you have the means.Hope this helps someone.

Perfect fit works as it should saved me few hundreds $$ as I was ready to go buy new dishwasher. I'm hoping to get few more years out of my dishwasher now. Amazon was the cheapest place to buy this part new.

The old circulation pump squeeled like a pig and wasn't getting the dishes clean. The replacement restored the water flow, power, and does it as quietly as the oem part.It did not come with instructions, but if you're tackling something like this, you've already got the troubleshooting common sense to not have any issues.

After waiting a week for it to finally arrive, part is missing hoses in posted pictures of part, small hose that is on part is cut. Screw heads are stripped and inside part is dirty with soap residue. Certainly sent me a used part!

Our LG Dishwasher has previously had the LG ABT72909202 Genuine OEM Pump Casing Assembly replaced through a LG warranty several years ago due to it whining while running. After getting a quote of $400 to fix the pump, that again began making the high pitch whine while running, we ordered this pump through Amazon at a great value for the money. It fixed the issue and our dishwasher is once again very quiet. As others have noted there are no directions to remove or install this part. Just pay attention when disassembling it and take note of the heating element (silver bar with three electrical connections). This has to be removed before you can get to two of the mounting screws. Remove the nut and gently pry it out with a screwdriver. Then just reassemble the pump in the reverse order. This company sent our product quickly. I had originally ordered a cheaper pump through another company on Amazon but they failed to send the pump and that ordered was canceled due to poor service. So buying cheaper products isn’t always worth the trouble.

The part fixed a loud whirring noise during the wash cycle. Easy to access once I had the dishwasher on it’s back. I did learn that the dishwasher heating element needed to be removed from the old part and connected to the new part. Unexpected but not too much effort. Overall, happy that the noise is gone and the price of the part was a bargain compared to other pet distributors online.

Recently, my LG LDF7774ST dishwasher was making a constant whine/drone during use and could be heard all over the house. After reading up on the issue, it was likely that the bearings in the circulation motor were wearing out. Based on when the noise occurred in the cycle, this was the most likely cause.Contacted LG who were very quick to respond with a nice remail. Although the drive motor was covered under warranty the labor was not, and LG could not provide me the part without a technician to confirm the issue. I had installed the dishwasher, so figured this DIY replacement should not be too difficult. The new piece from Amazon warehouse arrived in bubble warp inside a slightly beat up box. Compared it to the original part and it was fine (it is an OEM after all). The replacement works very well, and the dishwasher is now as quiet as when we first bought it (i.e. have to be next to it to know that it’s running).Five stars, as very happy.I will note that unlike some online videos of LG dishwashers, I did not need remove anything from inside the dishwasher (aside from the three dish racks for when I turned it on its back).
