They mentioned that this toilet handle can be used on Kohler-branded toilets, but it needs some modifications on a Kohler Cimarron. For starters, the hole in the toilet for the handle was too tight, so I had to carefully file the opening to make it fit. Second, the lever arm had to be bent to align properly inside the tank.Everything worked fine after these changes but I got to see how simple and low-quality this part really is. It didn't have an inside spring like better parts and the arm just moved up and down, with the help of gravity, inside the plastic handle.Nothing against inexpensive parts as this one works well but my only concern is durability.

Appears well made and it was easy to install. I ordered this not for a toto tank, but the lever looked similar enough and it works great. Can't speak for longevity as I've just installed it, but so far so good. No complaints.

I couldn’t find the model number of my husband’s TOTO toilet and took a chance on this handle replacement. It fits! I didn’t even watch any videos. Just followed the instructions that came with it to install it. It looks like a quality item. It looks nice and most importantly, it works.

I've had my Toto toilets (3 of them) for almost 20 years. I've replaced the toilet handles several times in each of them. It seems that Toto has a design flaw in the original (and very expensive) toilet handles that come with the toilet and are sold as OEM replacements.Take a look at the pictures. In the first picture, you can see the toilet handle mechanism after it has been removed from the toilet. In the second picture, you can see where the metal rod is seated in an indentation in the handle. You'll notice that the indentation has broken out, which causes the handle to stick and keep water running in the toilet after you flush. In the third picture, I've taken the pieces apart and you can see the screwdriver is pointing at the area that has broken out of the metal indentation through repeated use.Now, being an engineer myself, I called Toto about this several times over the years and told them that they needed to reinforce that area to prevent failures. They didn't care.Ancable on the other hand, saw the design flaw and fixed it. As you can see where the screwdriver is pointing in the fourth picture, Ancable has added a piece of metal to reinforce the point of failure in the handle. This handle and mechanism WILL NOT FAIL like the Toto part.Toto also charges twice what this part costs. So, if you want to pay twice as much to purchase a part that WILL fail, get the Toto part.On the other hand, if you want to pay half as much to get a part that won't fail, I recommend that you purchase this Ancable part, that is a direct replacement for the Toto part, and will perform much better and much longer.

I looked at replacement parts on the Toto website recently, ONLY to make sure I knew proper part numbers and specs. DEAR LORD, OEM Toto replacement parts are EXPENSIVE!!!This handle is nicer than the original, installed in 2 minutes, though I modified mine by using an angle grinder to cut off the furthest chain mounting hole, and operates perfectly. The square rubber gasket wouldn't fit through the square opening in the tank, so I took it off and it works fine without it. I love this flush handle!

This is a great replacement for Toto toilet hadles that bread after a few years. There's indeed a design issue with Toto toilet handles that lens to breakage of the round section inside the handle. I have two Toto toilets and both broke in the exact same spot. When it does, you just have to reverse the direction of the handle and make the pointy part face the back, bend the brass bar to fit and use it for many more years. Well, after more than 10 year in the reverse position, I've replaced numerous flappers due to wear, and finally the brass bar is about to break. So in come this reaplacement. And I am glad to see that this is a quality part that should last for long many years.
