I got this because I had a toilet with a side mount flush handle that would get stuck in the flush position. I bought what was supposed to be a universal handle from a major chain hardware store, but though the design seemed clever it didn't provide enough movement to really lift the flapper valve.I saw this one and requested it figuring I didn't have anything to lose. When it came I wasn't impressed, it was wrapped up like a mummy, and when I got it unwrapped it seemed like it was really loose, at first I couldn't see how it worked.But once I figured it out I realized it was a neat design. Unlike more flush handles, it doesn't twist the rod instead it actually turns the normal twisting motion of the handle into a lift motion of the rod. It worked quite well for my toilet.I'll have to see how long it lasts, but for now, I'm very happy with it.
