I recently read that ticks do not simply hibernate in the winter. They are more active than you'd imagine and can carry diseases. My friends and I are often in the outdoors, and now I'm prepared to handle human or pet emergencies. This kit looks like it will be useful and comes in a compact, zipper pouch made of fabric, rather than PLASTIC. Just toss it in your pack.

I got this for my daughter , she has kids and pets . she already used it on the dog and said it worked great the best thing about it is that everything you could need is right there in one bag and the bag is marked tick remover. thank you

Perfect size and great starter to have. Easy to refill with what they have in. But mainly it has the tick removers and the magnifying lens with tweezers. Everything else I have In my home kit so I can Refill. Worth it. I live In pa. Ticks are bad. Well worth it to have in hand

It did have three functioning tools to remove ticks, which did work. I bought the kit because I liked the idea of having everything in one handy bag, which would be easy to find around clutter both for myself and those who are watching the dog & kids. What's disappointing is the fact that they cheeped out on the alcohol pads & the antiseptic swabs. They literally give you one set! Really! One set! For the $14 you should give at least 20 of each. Save yourself some money and just buy the tool for $3 and get yourself a bright little bag and label it yourself.
