hold huge amount of line, only had problem w/ one of my reel is the paint was bad ( coarse from aluminum on the surface of the reel ( like how u weld something and it caught spark and cause tiny grain on surface of something... ) sloppy china manufacturing ,I dont care for the money , it worth it, i was going to return but hell, i needed reels for tuna fishing

I love this reel , have used it for oversized sturgeon 70+ inches , 150lb seven gill shark and trolling for king salmon , works amazing , I got the 16 narrow , was much larger than i expected it to be , going to order a 12 soon
