works as well or better than most rope cocking aids. The rope appears to be very strong and is long enough for you to cut to custom length. The orange color makes it stick out in my pack. The hooks that grab your string have a narrow with as opposed to come other styles where the hooks have wider tip ends which for me can cause my hooks to "jump" the rail and on two occasions broke my bolt retention component. Buy this cocking aid. Great quality and a low cost.

This cocking device works great. I am a senior citizen and as I aged I lost a lot of strength in my arms. This allows me to exert only half the required strength required to cock my crossbow. prior to using this device I couldn.t pull the string back far enough to engage the trigger mechanism. Now I can cock it every time without too much strain. I would recommend this type of device for anyone using a crossbow to save on wear and tear on your arms.

Nice rope cocker, it comes extremely long for use on any crossbow, I have a Barnet Jackyl and an SA Sports Trminator, I cut the cocker down so it would not be s long, but it's great and works as expected

After I saw one of my friends using this on there Crossbow I decided to gave it a try and end up loving it. I use it on my Garnett Gamecrusher crossbow. This was very helpful and made my back hurt almost 90% less.....My only regret it is that why I did not buy it earlier.

My friend that helps me crossbow hunt normally use a cranking type cocking device. This works great for us, but it is noisy and takes longer to cock.My Mr. Macho son, is extremely strong and very capable of easily pulling back my 175 pound Carbon Express crossbow. Whenever we did a lot of practice shooting, we would let him manually cock the crossbow, although he did complain of some back discomfort after an evening of shooting longer than normal.Until the day the string slipped out of his hand nearly causing a full blow dry fire, not to mention he could have lost a finger or two. Ever since, I SAID NO MORE. It is simply too risky and not worth taking a chance. I looked at the major brand pull rope cockers and they were (in my opinion) completely overpriced. Then I found this universal rope cocking device at an affordable price. Mr. Macho adjusted the rope to the desired length. It is easy to attach, smooth, quite, easier to use than the wench type cocker, and reduces the amount of pull weight. He no longer complains of his back hurting. This cocking device has been very helpful and made practice SAFER and easier on everyone involved.Simply grasp the hooks and drape the rope over the groove of the stock and place the hooks onto the crossbow string on each side of the flight track. Once this is accomplished, simply hold the crossbow by stepping on the foot stirrup and pull the crossbow string with the molded T handles back until the trigger mechanism locks.

You get what you pay for and in this case you get an awesome rope cocking device for a fraction of what you will pay in stores. There is nothing cheap about this cocking device other than the price.
