got this for mom. She loves being outside on her patio. This lamp adds some nice decor to her evening. It charges during the day. The light isn't super bright. It gives off a warmish light. The designs projected only add to the enjoyment.

It’s pretty and makes a nice glow at night. I put it on my patio and it stays lit all night, even if it doesn’t get full sun during the day. The light makes cool patterns on the ground. It looks best when you place it low or on a table. The bronze color is nice and it feels strong and well-made. It’s a great way to make your outdoor space look cozy and special.

I am very happy with this GOODEA hummingbird solar lantern. It is taller than others I have, and its solar panel is a bit larger (2 x 2.5" compared to 2 x 2" or less on other lanterns.) The light can last well into the early morning hours, even if the panel didn't get 6 hours of full sun. The lantern is sturdy and well-made and it has an attractive antique bronze finish and cut-out design, which produces a lovely pattern of light and shadows on its surroundings at night.It also has an unusual feature which I almost forgot to mention because I don't find it particularly useful: in addition to the steady light mode, it has the option of selecting a slowly fluctuating mode. Don't know what it is supposed to represent; it doesn't flicker like a flame, it just waxes and wanes over a span of several seconds.I recommend this lantern highly and have purchased a second one to give as a gift.

I have hung this lantern on a south-facing fence, where it should get all-day sun to charge it. There are no obstructions. But it has never, ever lit up at night. So disappointed.

Updated on 05/19Stopped charging and does not turning on less than 2 months of use .. Total waste of moneyI hung these hummingbird solar lanterns in my backyard, and they're just magical. When it gets dark, they cast this gorgeous image of hummingbirds flying over sunflowers. It's so pretty and adds such a nice touch to my patio.The solar panel works great; they charge up quickly and stay lit for hours. I love that I don't have to worry about batteries or plugging them in.They have two light settings: one that's just steady, and another that kind of pulses, which is really cool and creates a nice mood. It's super easy to switch between them.Overall, I'm really happy with these. They're beautiful, durable, and a great way to add some charm to your outdoor space.
