This lantern is just so beautiful! I gave it to my mom as a mother's day gift and she loves it! It projects the light well with a pretty crisp picture. It doesn't seem to take much light to power up, so even on days without a ton of sun, it still shines at night. There was no added "set up," it's pretty much ready to go from the box. I'm super pleased with this item and I personally feel the price is fair for what you get.

The solar light makes a very nice pattern on my deck at night. I love these solar lights. They take a beating here in Florida with the intense sun. What I discovered about this solar light is the solar light part is separate. I am hoping with this feature it means this company will have replacement solar component and make it so you can continue to use the carrier even after the solar part gets burn out in this intense summer sun.

I have several solar lights on my patio and this one is brighter than the others. It looks good hanging on a hook or placed on my patio table. I love the butterfly patterns this light puts out.

I have many solar lanterns so I’m familiar with what’s available.While at first black seemed like an unusual choice for the exterior color of a garden lantern, the result is a very sharp looking piece with glowing gold inside.A lot of thought went into this and the makers went the extra mile. The top solar panel is large and at the same time nearly invisible. The lid actually has a wide rubber washer to both seal it to prevent water intrusion and to keep the solar lid in place. I appreciate the medium size and feet to make it useful both for tabletop use and for hanging. The wire hoop is proportional to the body of the lantern itself and not too long.The cutout design is done in a way that does not compromise the wall strength.This truly is both giftable and enjoyable for your own garden. Hopefully this will last for many years.

This lantern is so pretty! I set it in the window of our bathroom which gets great sunlight the majority of the day and when it came on at night it was just lovely. Not only that but it remained on until about 5 am so it may have just become our new bathroom nightlight. I am sure it will make its way outdoors this summer while camping or to navigate the dark deck stairs when we have backyard bonfires. Love it! Also, the handle on this is removable in case you plan to just leave it sit somewhere which is nice yet it stays in well for as easy as it attaches.

Really pretty solar butterfly lantern.Feels like quality materials that will last a long time. The solar panel on the top comes off and there is an on and off switch underneath it. This must be in the on position for the solar panel to charge. There is also a metal handle/hanger for it as well. I just didn't put it on for the pictures.The light cast a beautiful filigree butterfly pattern onto the floor, counter tops. Would make a beautiful addition to a garden or patio.This would be a great gift for that special friend, mom, grandmother, daughter, and neighbor.Highly impressed with the quality as it seems very sturdy and well balanced. I've owned other brands similar and they felt as if they could just blow away with a slight wind.This one does not. I really like this one.
