Honestly the color is pretty and i love it, and it really does sound better than my mallets and the suede ones, they all sound so scratchy, this has a smoother sound when circling the bowls. I dont recommend dropping it or tossing it or smacking it of course, but its pretty sturdy. Comes in a little pouch to keep it clean and I appreciate that so much.

I absolutely love the sound quality created by this mallet. In fact, I am purchasing a second one as I like to play with both hands. I did purchase one from a different vendor, and M, incredibly disappointed. In comparison this one makes an absolutely beautiful sound. If you struggle with the scratchy sounds with some of the Crystal singing bowls, I will say that this one has a much much much reduced sound, in terms of the scratchiness, and a clear beautiful tone from the bowls themselves.

Makes a very different sound than my wood/ rubber and suede strikers. Very easy to work with hardly any drag across bowl edges. I say try it if you have a bowl!
