The MEINL Cajon Double Mallet combines the small and big head versions into one handy unit. This model is great to have when changes in a piece of music happen quickly. When dynamics are up, use the bigger end. Flip to the smaller end when the volume comes down.

The lemgth seemed long, making it sort of diffibult to play. Probably jusy not used to the weight of yje enfs. Still preger to play bate handed for more variety of tonrs.

Totally worth it.... these sticks can give that elusive tom tom sound with the larger mallet end. The smaller end provide a unique (and very nice) precision clip.
