I am a new parent that has a lot of people willing to help on my journey. However it was very hard to find extra bases for the car seat I had purchased. Thanks to Amazon I was not only able to find but also purchase many of them to fit in all types of cars that we have. From my Envoy to a Durango and even our smaller Chevy Aveo. It works and fits perfectly. It came shipped in undamaged boxes, brand new and ahead of my expectations.

I chose five stars because the product was easy to install and it is easy to use.I bought this product used, but in new condition.The price is a bit steep considering you can get the onBoard 35 carseat for about $100 bucks, but having another base is worth the time you save from having to ensure you correctly strap in the carseat all the time.

We just had a baby girl so we had to buy a carrier/car seat for her. My wife found the Eddie Bauer stroller and really liked the features and the way it looked and handled. Plus it came with an infant carrier and a car seat base (which had received great safety reviews). The only problem was that we have more than one car that we would be using to transport our little one. So, we had to purchase extra car seat bases for our other car and our parent's cars. At $40 a pop, it started to get a bit expensive. I have seen more expensive bases though so I guess I should consider myself lucky. The base is solidly constructed from a hard plastic (with metal bars & hooks & seat belt webbing), so it does seem safe. I guess the price is worth it for the solid construction. As long as it keeps our baby safe then it's worth the money.

It did not work for the car seat, it was the wrong one, I had to buy a different one, and I could not send it back because there were no return labels included. I actually had to call the factory to find the correct one, and it was cheaper from their site, so now I have one I cannot use.

I bought this extra base to go with the Eddie Bauer infant seat. I'm really disappointed between the infant seat and the base. The base is a little longer than most standard bases. When the car seat is connected it hits the passenger front seat. The person who sits in the passenger seat has to move their seat up really far. This happens in both our Ford Explorer and Kia Optima.

It is sooo hard to find a base for the Eddie Bauer Trailmaker travel system- no luck on Ebay, Craig's list, or even Babiesrus / toysrus, target, walmart NO WHERE! So for the first time I tried Amazon- THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU WILL FIND THE CORRECT BASE FOR the Eddie Bauer Trailmaker system. I also had to call the manufacturer to GARUNTEE this was indeed the correct base- and it is!I was very "iffy" about buying this- but took the chance and am sooo glad I did. It is a truly a perfect fit! And a HUGE releif not to have to hassle with the base between cars / trucks. I strongly reccomend this product- it came exactly as stated by seller- shipping was fast and easy-and had no damages to product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLER! **** Thank you! Good luck!! :)

Safety First is the BEST carseat brand I have used! The bases for your cars are a little more expensive but totally worth it!! This base is easy to move from car to car or move around your own car! We put ours in a Volvo and an Suv...works great!! I bought a few of these, and they have held up wonderful! I feel very safe "clicking" our daughter into her seat for a safe car ride! Safety First has wonderful carseats and bases. This is the only brand I will use for my family!
