Respirator Mask with Filters, Gas Masks Survival Nuclear and Chemical - Reusable Respirator for Vapors, Painting

Needed a good respirator mask for working in a nasty old attic space. Picked this one up as it was a good value, and have been very pleased with it. The adjustments work well to give a good seal, and it is very comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time. Super easy to fit filters onto, just push and twist. Very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

This respirator has adjustable straps and a well fitting silicon mask that fits me just right. It is pretty comfortable and, when assembled with all the parts, I can breathe through it pretty easily. It comes with the mask itself with the straps attached. The bottom strap has an easy closure method that I can do behind my head without any trouble. It also comes with one set of carbon filters. These will be the most expensive part that will need to be replaced. They can range anywhere from six dollars for one set all the way up to $14.00 per set depending on how many you are willing to buy at a time. The more important part for me are the cloth filters that go on the outside. This is what would catch the particle matter such as hey Cortana the wood dust if you are woodworking. Replacement cloth filters are not that expensive and that is what I will be using the most since I intend to use this mostly for woodworking. Ten of these cloth filters are included which would be 5 replacement sets . Also included with the package is one set of hearing protectors, the ear plug type. This is pretty easy to assemble, you just attach the two carbon filters to the outside of the mask and then insert a cloth filter into each of the two included clear plastic covers and snap them onto the carbon filter. You're then ready to go. When you need to change the cloth filters, simply unsnap the clear cover and replace the clock filter with a new one. I am happy with this respirator and can recommend it.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

The strap on my old 3M respirator broke the other day so I was in the market for a new respirator. Breathing certain chemicals or dust is terrible for your lungs and should be taken more seriously. The HCHONGY half face respirator was the same form factor as my old 3M respirator. It comes with 5 pairs of N95 cotton filters that you slot into the included 6001 filter cartridges. The respirator has standard 3 tab connectors that take many different filters cartridges. the fit can be adjusted so that the silicone face guard fits snugly over your nose and mouth. It's not as heavy as my old respirator and breathing feels much less labored. That's not too day that it doesn't filter the air though. I went through 2 cans of spray paints and didn't smell a thing. This respirator also comes with a pair of reusable ear plugs which is a nice plus. I can't emphasize the comfortable fit enough, it really didn't feel heavy or hot. For the low cost you actually get a comfortable respirator mask that works really well.

I used this respirator for spray painting my flare fenders and it worked perfectly! Highly recommended! Comes with extra filters and cleans easily! Perfect for the price!

I got this for my husband who builds and air brushes different models out in his shed. His shed has no ventilation system, so I thought this might help. He loved it and says that it works great! He would definitely recommend this for any job involving sprays, paint, dust, etc.

This mask is very similar to my 3M 6502QL respirator, it seals well, is comfortable, and works well. It comes with plenty of extra cotton filters which should last for a while. I did have a little trouble securing the clasp in the back that I don't have with the 3M version, but it might be because the clasp and hook are on opposite sides compared to the 3M I'm used to. The only thing that this doesn't have that is on the 3M model is the quick release lever, so you have to unhook the clasp in order to remove the mask to adjust it for ear or eye protection. If this version had a quick release lever it would easily be a 5 star product and be much more convenient to use.
