This respirator makes a pretty good seal around my face, at least as good as most respirators at this level that I’ve tried. It isn't a gas mask and doesn't claim to be, they say it blocks 97% and I can feel the mask sucking against my face when I try breathing with the vents sealed. As well as the main filters there are a couple of P100 particulate filters and several cotton filters to go with the main filters that I guess helps extend their life. There is a set of reusable earplugs and an orange carry bag that everything fits into.This respirator covers the whole face and wraps around more than the others I have so I feel there is more peripheral vision but because of the closer curved fit I can’t really wear these with glasses. (Yes glasses do break the seal at the side but for most of what I use masks for that should be ok, they are still a huge improvement over the plain dust masks). In this case I can just about get my smallest pair of glasses to fit but it’s not comfortable and I fear the glasses would get broken with the strain.The straps that hold the mask in place include a mesh to go over your head, at first they don't seem the strongest but they do hold the mask in place well so I cant complain.This respirator is surprisingly good for the price. I’m just using masks like this when sanding or doing DIY work that kicks up a lot of dust. That’s fine for me but if you need something better for real work I’d do more research.

Bought this because safety goggles were fogging up in minutes. Two different pair of goggles with breathing vents.Other reviews said it doesn't fog, so took a chance. Works great and have complete face protection. Makes work in the crawlspace much more tolerable.

I have a lot of different hobbies that involve using lots of dust and gases. I do CNC work, which despite its ventilation, can still give off a lot of dust from wood and aluminum. I would never want to breathe these in.I also use a chain saw to trim some of the trees in my yard and the problem is I am always getting sawdust in my eyes and mouth.I do 3D printing and laser engraving. These require painting and sanding which also gives off dust and fumes.I wanted something that would protect my entire face as well as filter out things I do not want to breathe in.This full-face respirator mask seemed perfect.This respirator comes with a full face shield that is both fog-resistant and impact-resistant.When you put it on it is very comfortable with the soft silicone that is around the mask. It does get fairly warm if you are wearing this in a hot environment but that is to be expected.The respirator has 2 filters on it that are composed of several sections, including activated carbon, electrostatic cotton, and a cotton filter. It comes with one pair of activated carbon filters and 5 pairs of cotton filters. There are 2 pink filters included as well but I am not sure what these are and there is no mention of them on the product page.There are no instructions included with the respirator, but you can get the assembly instructions on the product page. Not sure if this is an oversight with my respirator or if they all don't come with instructions.You can also easily communicate with others while this is on.I am very happy with this full-face respirator. It is very comfortable, works well, and I do like that it does not fog up.I do recommend this for anyone who requires protection when doing their hobbies or DIY projects at home.

I recently used this mask to Fog a couple of units at an apartment complex. I was a little nervous because of the price, but it works perfectly! The multiple straps form a nice seal for pesticide particles (No odors dectected). There is also a strap connected to the mask which allows you to hang it from your neck when not in use.

La qualité était très bonne et il ny avait pas de défauts de plastique sur celui que j'ai reçu. J'en ai commandé un autre pour ma femme. 1) Le plus important c'est qu'il semble vraiment étanche à 100% après l'avoir ajusté. 2) Je l'ai ajusté de la façon suivante: J'ai positionné les ouillets dans le bonne direction et j'ai ajusté les 5 "straps" pour qu'il y ait exactement 8 cm en l'oeillet de chacune de ces 5 straps et les bouts de ces "straps" qui dépassent. Le but était d'avoir simplement un ajustement égal. Cela a fonctionné pour moi avec 8 cm. Vous pouvez essayer avec d'autres mesures et ça devrait fonctionner. 3) J'ai des lunettes de marque Thinoptics de couleur clair et de force 2 pour la myopie que j'ai achetées sur Amazon. Ce sont des lunettes plates qui vont sur le bout du nez. Il suffit seulement de les coller sur la vitre extérieur du masque avec un tape transparent 3M ou avec du Alien Tape. Cela fonctionne parfaitement. 4) J'ai acheté 4 filtres Supergum de 40 mm "Choix d'Amazon" avec une date d'expiration en 2040 pour aller avec les deux masques. J'ai très confiance aux produits et je suis content de mes achats.

A steal for the price ($50) honestly. I plan to use this for general respirator purposes like sawing, grinding, painting, outdoor smoke, etc. It’s got a complete seal when you do the negative pressure test so it’s fully functional for CBRN but I would NOT trust my life with the filter that came with it, it was completely unlabeled so who knows how old it is, who made it, or how effective it is; so, make sure you get some extra MIRA filters and P3 filters too, etc.Deducted half a star since the rubber on the inside is kind of hard and slightly malformed so it cuts into my cheek next to my nose somewhat (I’m sure that’ll loosen up with use eventually). If CBRN happens personally I’ll stick to my CM-8M but again this one is only $50…will serve as a backup and for general normal respirator purposes. Get it it’s a steal at the current price!

Great value for a surprisingly well constructed promise! Compared to a number of overpriced more expensive types and models, this mask is an excellent alternative. The match up with a myriad of different 40mm filters and their manufacturers was an unexpected and pleasing experience. Price, comfort, versatility, and quality of product design and manufacture makes this item worth the time and investment!! I gave it only 4 stars due to some issues with certain ballistic combat style Kevlar headgear as it relates to fitting effectively. Styles/types matter as to a good fit or an infeasible one. Certain creative personal limited modifications may lessen some of the issues, but not all. Also, donning this mask and use at firearms training facilities for live fire exercises can/will produce specific problems depending on the weapons platform being utilized. In summation, know and balance your specific needs, be discerning and prudent about the mask you feel you need. Reach out to others for input, look at cost relevancy as to the value of your life and those you care for, and overall affordability as to situational ethics. "CAVEAT EMPTOR!" I trust this helps those inclined to equip themselves with this type of item. I like mine!! KAZMOS.

This is a nice gas mask. I didn't use the cartridge so I can't speak to it. The mask fits my head well and the straps to tighten and loosen it work much better than the ones of the lower cost mask I also bought. The lower cost one did gave me a good seal too, but this one is higher quality materials. I used this to breath fresh air in through a hose when rolling a shellac primer inside a smokers house. The solvents in that stuff was nasty. I fitted a 20' hose to the 40mm cartridge fitting and that provided fresh air from outside. The only problem I had was my eyes. I'm about -4 diopters and really can't see the paint I'm putting on the wall very well without my glasses on. As far as I know, you can't wear glasses in any of these full face masks because you can't get a seal around the glasses frame where they go back to your ears. So you might need to wear contacts if you have myopia and want to use a full face gas mask.
