The arm sleeves material is lightweight and breathable. It is good for sun protection. I recommend that you hand wash instead of machine wash.

I use this product when I drive my convertible car. It protects my arms from the sun and I can feel the wind blowing through to keep them cool. It feels a little tight over my biceps which are not particularly well developed, but not all that annoyingly. I have not washed them yet so I can not advise as to how they will hold up yet.
