Other than a quick charge up this was ready to use right out of the box. The camera is a weighted and hefty metal camera. It has some extra areas to secure it to an additional line or secure it to a fixed spot. The monitor is easy to operate. There’s 2 powered switches. 1 is for the monitor/ camera. The other inside the IR led light. There’s a menu and plus and minus buttons that control the backlight, brightness, contrast, saturation and zoom. These are provide a great range of picture adjustments so that I can see in darker, freshwater environments. The sun shield is a great feature so I can see without glare when I’m out on the dock. It also comes with a bracket mount that I can clamp onto a railing. It has a a full circle tilt adjustment so that I can angle the monitor up, down, left or right freely.

My family and I love to go fishing when we go camping. We really enjoy fishing and think it’s fun, however actual catching is a bit funner for us. This underwater fishing camera has been really cool and definitely helped with the amount of fish we catch. This camera will be great for a full day of fishing, it will work for hours of continuous use. The entire camera system will fit nicely into our tackle box for easy carrying. It is completely waterproof and is a quick and easy set up. The camera once underwater will display what is around it onto a large, led display screen. It provides a lot of light to brighten up dark and mucky water. Our kids love being able to see the fish through the screen and it has been extremely helpful in helping us locate schools of fish. This helps us to not waste our time in areas that are bare and speeds the actually catching of fish up. The camera video and photo resolution is clear and crisp. We are very pleased with this and don’t go fishing without it.

This little underwater camera actually attaches to your fishing pole. Super light and portable, so it doesn't take up much space at all in your tackle box. Set up was a snap and the kids absolutely love watching the fish come up and investigate the camera and lure. We had to test it out in the fish tank first of course. Picture quality was adequate even at the deepest level. Fun!
