Suction is garbage. Lost suction while moving and I only have a 5 hp on a 14 foot boat. Almost ripped my fish finder out of the mount.

The transducer works perfectly however, the suction cup does not stick/stay in place.I am now able to utilize my Humminbird on the ice or on my small boat.

My hummingbird Helix 5 was reading erratic depths of 2000 feet in about 30 feet of water. I found a knick in the transducer cable and attempted to splice it but had no luck. This new setup corrected the problem. I didn't use the suction cup mount, I used the original mount that came with the fish finder.
