Good heavy duty deck reinforcement plates. These are well worth the money and if you have an MTD branded mower, you'd be well advised to install a set of these. These fit under the mowing deck. They help brace and support the deck spindle area. They're easy to install and will help prevent the deck from bending during "incidents". So straighten that deck, install a set of these deck plates and enjoy a few extra years of service from your mower. FYI if your mowing deck is rusty at the spindle mount area you can also install another set of these plates on top too. Save yourself the $700+ cost of a new replacement deck. It works.

Worked like a charm. Deck was close to going into the garbage. It has a few more years now! Highly recommend you install earlier than I did.

My deck had rotten through and i thought I was going to need to replace it. Luckily I found these and was able to save my deck. I put one on top and one on the bottom and it worked. Saved me a ton.

They are made of very good material and the pkg includes all new bolts necessary to install them.

Took off one star because middle spindle I had to trim off some to make it fit. But for their intended purpose they should be great. Wish they had these years ago for my older riding mowers.
