Yeah it still clogs up with grass but it’s better than the mulcher attachment. Now I only have to clean it a couple of times while mowing instead of 8 times.

I purchased this at the time not realizing the bag for the lawn mower could be utilized. We haven't had a need to use this often but it's a great addition to our mower when needed/ wanted.

I purchased this accessory when the weed/feed I applied recommended leaving clippings on the lawn to assist with weed killing. BOTTOM LINE: It works great *unless* the grass is particularly tall or wet. In those situations, it is easily clogged due to the very narrow exit chute. If the grass clippings are too heavy due to size or moisture, the chute gets very quickly clogged and has to be cleared manually. But if you are someone who cuts your lawn religiously whenever it grows 1/4" - 1/2"--and/or you live someplace with little rainfall--this side discharge will work very well for you!

It clogs almost immediately. The discharge chute is too narrow and/or the mower blade doesn't produce enough airflow to push the grass out the chute. This is useless. Are there different blades for mulching vs. discharging? I hope that's my issue.

My original mower was bought off the floor and was missing this piece. So, I have nothing to compare it to.I had to shave the plastic down so it would fit the slot on the mower. It doesn't fit flush...seems warped. Grass flies out of the bottom instead of the size. Not a great design.
