Good purchase - used in an outdoor fountain to keep the overflow into the reservoir clean.

As expected! Foam is comparable to other foams purchased to use with aquarium water filters. Seems to be decent quality. Good value and would recommend!

These type of filters are so much easier to use than the other filters just rinse out, squeeze, and replace.

As far as being a decent filter, it works. But the pump i use needs a filter approximately 1" x 2". I have enough material here to keep me in filters for about 50 years

I bought these knowing that these were intended for a fish tank. I am using them on the air inlet side of my diesel heater to keep chicken feathers and c*** out of there. And so far they're doing exactly what I need them to do I did have to trim them down a little bit to fit where I needed them to, but They work great, very happy with them. And no I could not find anything specifically made for a diesel heater. If you can find it, send me a link

The pads come vacuum sealed/packed which makes them "very" thin. I recommend submerging them in warm water and leaving them in for a few hours before using. This allows the sponge to regain its shape and volume. After that, you can cut them to size if needed. Very good quality and value.
