This lantern is so sweet. I love the copper metal and the mushroom design. The cut out on the metal is smooth. It's not going to cut your hand. The glow at night is perfect. You can see the mushroom design on the ground. Very happy that it's solar so I don't have to buy batteries!

This Hopeleo Solar Outdoor Mushroom Garden Decor Lantern is super adorable. It is rated IP65 waterproof which means a device is both dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets. It's water-resistant but not waterproof, meaning it can withstand rain and splashes but shouldn't be submerged. With that said, the solar panel comes completely off the top and the lantern itself could be submerged in water for cleaning if needed and then the top placed back on. This lantern is safe and perfect for outdoor use. It is durable metal and the squirrels checked it out but moved on quickly once it held no prizes.These are lovely and I love them. The material of the lantern will be long lasting. The solar panel is a good size and with the led lighting should also last a long time. It has a hanging handle and I noticed in the description that I didn't think about but it is true. The lantern comes with shade included in the box. I got a laugh out of that but even with the shade included out of the box the lantern still lit up and had a charge on it straight out of the shaded box.I love the warm inviting light it cast all around and below it. Hung high it sends the light out lighting so much of a pathway or the garden and hung low or placed on a table it cast the beautiful little mushroom details on the table or floor and walls around it. It is super pretty on a glass top. It looks right at home no matter where you put it during the day and at night it really comes alive and shows out. It is a little show-off.I have one in full sun about 8 hours and another on an open porch that only gets morning sun. They both have been reliable of coming on at dusk. The one in full sun stays on until daylight and the morning sun one on the porch makes it to about 5am it isn't daylight until 6:30 am or so. I switched them out and got the same results after 2 days. So placement matters for lighting duration as it does with any solar powered light. You will be happy with this choice.
