My washer has a no spin- no drain symptom. It would run the whole cycle then at the end, nothing. It's disgusting how much they charge for these machines and I wasn't excited about dropping $800 or more on another crappy machine.For $50, why not. It was insanely easy to replace. It took about a half hour and we were back in business. And once you see how few components are on a washer, you'll be disgusted at the replacement cost too.Swap the pump, wash your clothes, and save your money. It's enough with being ripped off.

Our washer stopped draining and spinning. We could hear something trying to kick on. Like a grinding noise.Ordered this part for our model GE GTW680BPL1DG . Easy install, make sure washer is drained, unplugged, tip it forward and access is at the bottom. Remove old unit, when installing the new one , put the rubber gasket 1st then the unit on the gasket. Ran aroumd 10 times now with no issue.

My washer would drain so I called my at home repair guy , he came and looked and told me the problem and said to go to Amazon because the part is much cheaper. So I did and it was. Part price at a local retailer was $107.38 and I saved a bundle. I called him back for installation once I received the part and he installed it with no issues. A month later still running laundry daily and no issues.

Works just as well as OEM part. You will have to turn the washer on it's side to access the pump from the bottom side but not difficult to change once accessed.

I had a bad experience with a local repair technician who was sent to my home by GE. I have a extended warranty I have been struggling with getting my washing machine fixed since 11/30/2021. The GE tech installed a Askoll water pump in December he took out a perfectly good GE water pump now I need a new circuitboard, water values, water pump and a 4th part which I catch the name of it. I had to pump my washing machine out out by buckets. Parts will take till the end of may to arrive. I ordered this pump and replaced it myself it works great. My machine is 5 years old it will have new and old parts not what I was expecting. What I learned from this experience is insist on a manufacturer technician don’t allow someone who knows nothing about your appliances. The 1st guy had no Manuel or computer he watched you tube videos. GE tech had a computer updated software 2nd visit discovered the mess created by the 1st repair guy. Trust your gut look at all reviews including BBB better business bureau. With all the parts being replaced I could buy a new washing machine. Assurant is my warranty company.

If you need to replace a pump, Id for sure go for this one! It fit perfect, wiring was good and the pump itself is working better and faster than the original ever did! No worries about ordering this pump!

This is is a direct fit item and is somewhat easy to replace. The pump is located towards the back of the washer and it can be accessed by a small access panel. I found that tilting my washer made it easier to replace. When the pump arrived I checked to make sure the pump could spin and it would do about a halh turn then it would stop. THIS IS NORMAL as this pump has a very strong motor. The replacement pump we got actually drains more water than our original one. Very pleased with the price and function.
