I own several MHW-3BOMBER espresso accessories and have always been impressed with their workmanship. The espresso dosing funnel and puck screen are both made of high-quality materials. The puck screen fits perfectly into my Breville 54mm portafilter, distributes water evenly, and prevents coffee from sticking to the group head, making cleanup easy. The tall, wide dosing funnel does a great job of preventing coffee from spilling out. However, I find it a bit too tall to fit under the grinder.

This is perfect for the price. Just the right size for my Solis Grind and Infuse Perfetta portafilter which is the same 54mm size found on the Breville/Sage machines the magnet strength is perfect, just strong enough to stay put without moving around when tamping.

MWH-3BOMBER makes some of the coolest espresso accessories, and this little kit is no exception. I'm not usually one for visible branding, but I actually like the 3BOMBER logo emblazoned across the side of the black funnel - it's so braggadocious, and a little bit funny, it just makes me smile whenever I pick it up. 😹 I love it. Beyond the superficial visuals of the design, it functions quite well, as the magnets are strong, and the sides of the funnel back right up to the edge of the portafilter basket - two very important criteria for portafilter funnels. It's also light, yet sturdy. It's extremely easy to clean, and pops right off when you are done. I simply give it a once over with the same brush I use to flush my espresso hopper. Although if you really want easy, you can hold it over your sink and give it a quick blow of air, and that should do it. It fits perfectly - both size-wise and aesthetically, with my 3BOMBER Astra Portafilter, as well as with most of my other 54mm Breville portafilters. The puck screen is great, too. It's exactly like the thinnest and finest 0.3mm 3BOMBER puck screens, which are awesome, but wedded to a .5mm backing. This makes it a bit less flexible and more robust. I did find that although 3BOMBER claims that you shouldn't need to decrease the amount of grounds in your portafilter, you actually WILL want to do that. If you don't, it won't damage your machine or your puck screen, but you will get a lot of channelling, which is exactly what we are trying to avoid with the puck screen! For best results, I'd definitely recommend playing around with it to see how much you need to shave off, but for me half a gram less tends to work the best.Given that you are getting an awesome puck screen with a very nice and serviceable little funnel, I'd say this is a great value, and would highly recommend this set, especially if you are a fan of 3BOMBER stuff. 💣💣💣💥

This brand makes really nice coffee and espresso accessories. They’re all well designed, easy to use and work well - and these are no exception. They fit my 53mm La Spaziale Portafilter just fine and feel like premium components.
